Full day trip with Captain Mike

We thought it was going to be cold being December and the forecast said rain, but it was a beautiful day in the 70’s, no rain and evidently, amazing for fishing! Captain Mike took us to one of his spots in the marsh which made it look like it might be a slow day, but then we “busted a move” and he got us on the FISH! All kinds of FISH! We caught black drum, sheeps head, catfish, flounder, HUGE redfish, and 41 trout(almost the limit between the three of us)! My husband and I have been on many guided fishing trips, lake and gulf, and have never brought home so much meat and had such an outstanding time! We will highly recommend him to all our family and friends, so you better hope you can find a spot!

    Lots of fish

    My wife, my son, and I had the pleasure of fishing with Captain Chris at Sabine Outdoors on July 11th for a 5-hour afternoon trip that started at 2:30 PM. The bite started off pretty slow, but Captain Chris never gave up. He kept moving us to different locations until he found the fish—and when he did, the action was incredible. We limited out on speckled trout in no time and also landed several beautiful redfish. Captain Chris was extremely patient, knowledgeable, and professional. His experience on the water really showed, and he knew exactly where to find the fish. At the end of the trip, he cleaned all of our catch and even provided Ziploc bags so everything was ready to take home. If you're looking for an experienced captain who works hard to put you on fish and makes sure you have a great experience, I highly recommend booking your next trip with Captain Chris at Sabine Outdoors. He's one of the nicest and hardest-working captains I've ever had the pleasure of fishing with. We will definitely be back! James Johnson

    Captain Chris worked very hard to get us on the fish, and that led to a very sucessful fishing trip. Even though most of our group had little or no experiencr bay fishing. I would definetly book again.
