Have you ever had one of the days where you just knew God loved you, and that He puts just the right people in you path at the right time? We’ll today was that for me. There were so many kindnesses show to me today by Amy and John. Every aspect of the trip was wall planned and beautifully executed.     Tons of scallops and smiles

    Half Day Trip – Scalloping • 6 adults

    We caught tons of scallops with our party of six. Captain and mate were very kind and accomaditng. Highly recommend.

    Scalloping

    Half Day Trip – Scalloping - 1:30 PM • 3 adults • 1 child

    John was a great captain and his son Turner was awesome too. Both very knowledgeable and gave us a fun day on the water. I was especially impressed that John communicated with us a few times and changed our departure time a little based on tides and bottom conditions. This gave us the best chance for finding and collecting scallops and we ended up with 3&1/2 gallons. Thanks guys! Hope to see you again in the future for another adventure!

    Great Adventure with Captain John & "First Mate" Amy!

    Half Day Trip – Scalloping • 4 adults • 1 child

    My family of five chartered a boat with Captain John on 7/15/22. What an amazing trip! It was our first time scalloping and Captain John and his "First Mate" Amy (wife) made the experience such an awesome one. They are both extremely knowledgeable about scalloping and the history of Crystal River. The springs were beautiful and we even got to swim with a manatee. I would highly recommend Captain John Messer to charter!!

    Perfect Half Day Scalloping

    Half Day Trip – Scalloping • 4 adults

    If your looking for a scallop charter, look no further than Captain John. Super local knowledge, gracious host, comfortable boat. He and his mate Amanda were awesome. We made great family memories and the scallops were plentiful. A five star experience. We look forward to our return and Captain John will be our “go to” guide. Thanks Captain John for the great day.
