Experienced guide with a sense of humor
4 Hour Trip – Trout on March 8, 2026 • 5 adults
I booked a trip for myself, my husband (who is an avid fisherman), my older brother, and our two sons (who are game, but not so keen on the sport); and a great time was had by all. When the morning started, the water was a bit murky due to recent rain, so Josh was a bit concerned about how the trout would be biting, but he put us in the right spots and we almost limited out on Rainbow Trout and would have except we threw back a couple of smaller ones. Josh was a great teacher for all of us, especially my youngest son, which I especially appreciated. The natural beauty of Branson was exquisite on the lake. Josh’s knowledge of the sport and his ability to banter with the best of us in fun made it a special day! Thank you for the great experience, Josh!

we booked a bass targeted trip and ended up catching that & more ! I'll definitely be booking again the next time we makena trip out here to branson. Even with it being the day after everyone being on the water for 4th of july we were still able to catch bass, catfish and walleye

Captain Josh is a Guide's Guide

My brother and I, both experienced fishermen, took a trip with Captain Josh on Lake Taneycomo to fish the cold water for trout. He showed us new rigging and fishing techniques and always kept our needs first. Very personable and professional. Yes, we caught our limit.
