Booking a trip with Dan was fast and simple! The communication was great as far as directions and time or place to meet up. Right away at the dock Dan made us feel very welcome upon boarding the boat. Dan is an extremely nice person and very knowledgeable of the water and different species of fish we caught. The boat is spacious and up-to-date on ALL pertinent safety gear and equipment. We did a half day charter with 3 in our party and within 1-2 hour mark we were at our limit for Rockfish. Dan put us on the fish immediately. Quite a few times we had “instabite” and “doubles”. Great time had by all and will be booking with Dan for any future trips back to California. Thanks Dan, we had a great time!

Even though our original date to fish was cancelled due to weather, Capt. Dan worked with us to make it happen on another day! It was a great day on the water, we had lots of fun, lots of bites and we all reeled in multiple times! We even had a seal join in the fun and stole a couple catches right off the line!

Had a GREAT half-day trip with Dan.  It was a perfect addition to a weekend college reunion.  I would encourage everyone to experience this wonderful San Diego experience!  Thank you Dan for a great trip.

My three kids and I had a great day on the water with Captain Dan. The boat was clean and well maintained. It was loaded up with plenty of bait fish, something that has been a problem on other charters. We ended up with Tuna, Yellow Tail and Dorado. All of us got a couple. Dan went the extra mile, well miles really, to find us more and bigger fish. He was fun and interactive with the kids which is also something that we have mad a mixed experience with on other charters. Tangled lines, lost bait and gear, not following instructions exactly can cause other Captains to get frustrated, Dan was patient and understanding and made sure we all had a good experience.
