Awesome Half Day Trip with Captain Sergio
I booked a private 4-hour morning charter in early January and we caught 4 barracudas and 3 amberjacks. I flew to Tenerife to have my first ocean fishing experience. From start to finish, Captain Sergio and his crew truly exceeded my expectations. The booking process was seamless, and for a nominal fee, we arranged pickup and drop off from my hotel. I greatly appreciated this as I was an hour away and did not know my way around the island. The driver was his brother-in-law who doubled as a tour guide on the way to the Marina! Sergio was genuinely passionate about fishing and sharing his knowledge, techniques and experience with me. Having fished freshwater lakes back home since I was a kid, I enjoyed “talking shop” with Sergio about the nuances of fishing in the ocean. The whole team were very engaging, personable, polite, accommodating and had a great sense of humour. When the bite was on, Sergio and his crew eagerly baited multiple rods to increase the probability of hits and we celebrated every catch together. I felt safe and comfortable during the whole trip.
