Captain John is an interesting guy with great fishing experience. He knows the lake and the fish. A great time was had by all.
First time out on Lake Erie with our young sons (ages 7 and 4) as they have been begging to fish on Lake Erie. We booked Captain John for a perch outing and he did not disappoint. The prevoius few days before our trip brought in high winds on the lake and created not so ideal fishing conditions. Captain John was resilent in putting us on some fish and after trying a few different locations, we finally got on some and brought home a decent amount of perch. Our sons had a fun, memorable experience and can't wait to go again. Captain John has an excellent knowledge of the lake and kept the boys thoroughly engaged in the action. He was very patient with them and they really liked him. The boat and equipment were ideal for our total party of 6. All of us had fun. We highly recommend Captain John and would not hesitate to fish with him again. Great experience! Thanks again Captain!

Had a wonderful trip, captain and mate were very laid back and easy to get along with, very willing to show us what to do. We caught our limit, even my wife who doesn’t fish reeled in a few. My 10 year old brought in most of the fish which is exactly how we wanted it. Highly recommend.

Captain John and Rick were great to fish with! They both were wonderful with our daughters (12 & 10)! Our original trip was cancelled due to weather and John went out of his way to get us in before we had to leave the area! We limited out in just 4 hours!!!

Captain John and First Mate Rick worked hard to help our family catch some walleye; unfortunately, the fish didn't cooperate. We managed to catch nine keepers and one or two undersize fish. The highlight of the day was my 16-year-old reeling in a 23.5 lb, 35-inch catfish. We also caught two nice perch and a bass. There were a couple of other fish, but nothing we wanted to keep. Overall, it was a great day on the lake; I just wish we could have limited out on walleye. The captain and first mate stuck it out until the very end, trying to coax the fish into biting. This was our first Lake Erie experience, and we are looking forward to trying it again in the future.
