My wife, my son, and I had the pleasure of fishing with Captain Chris at Sabine Outdoors on July 11th for a 5-hour afternoon trip that started at 2:30 PM. The bite started off pretty slow, but Captain Chris never gave up. He kept moving us to different locations until he found the fish—and when he did, the action was incredible. We limited out on speckled trout in no time and also landed several beautiful redfish. Captain Chris was extremely patient, knowledgeable, and professional. His experience on the water really showed, and he knew exactly where to find the fish. At the end of the trip, he cleaned all of our catch and even provided Ziploc bags so everything was ready to take home. If you're looking for an experienced captain who works hard to put you on fish and makes sure you have a great experience, I highly recommend booking your next trip with Captain Chris at Sabine Outdoors. He's one of the nicest and hardest-working captains I've ever had the pleasure of fishing with. We will definitely be back! James Johnson

Great Fishing Trip!

Four of my friends and I had the privilege of fishing with Captain Chris Phillips today and he did not disappoint. This was my second trip with Captain Phillips and he has been fantastic on both trips. He is knowledgeable about the area, polite, professional, equipment is squared away, and he is very accommodating to the various needs of his clients. Captain Phillips is one of the hardest working guides I have ever fished with and he puts you on fish. Today, we caught redfish, trout, and sheepshead as the primary species and came away with plenty of fish for everyone to take home. If you are looking for a guided fishing trip in the Port Arthur / Sabine Pass area then Captain Phillips should be your guide. I highly recommend that you give him a chance to give you a great inshore fishing experience. I will be booking future trips with Captain Phillips and cannot speak highly enough about his conduct as a guide and his ability to give his clients a great fishing experience! Josh

We had an amazing charter fishing trip with Captain Chris! He was friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable about the area. He knew exactly where to take us and made the entire experience enjoyable from start to finish. Whether you're an experienced angler or it's your first time fishing, he makes the trip fun and memorable. We had a great time and would definitely book with Captain Chris again. Highly recommend!

Chris was awesome. He was very patient especially with our 8-year-old son. He knew the waters and every stop we caught something. We went home with several Red Fish and a Drum Head. We would definitely book with him again.
