What a great Father and Son team you guys make a pleasure to fish with you both and of course a draw at the end of the day with the fish count lol.
First off, way before the booked trip, Robert reached out and explained the conditions and tides of the day, and recommended a better day and time instead. He patiently answered our questions (and some wayward requests), and stayed in touch (for weeks) right up to the day of our charter. My brother was totally new to fishing or even casting a lure, but Robert paid a lot of attention to teach, guide and encourage him throughout the trip. Consequently, my brother (who's 60+) caught fish notwithstanding the difficult conditions and had a very memorable time. I've fished with guides before, and Robert demonstrated all the marks of a professional: not giving excuses for no fish and constantly moving to find good spots suitable for our abilities. The tackle is spot on: just for the 2 of us he brought along a whole brace of rods and kept giving us different ones to try according to the conditions. The boat is an open plate aluminum boat very suited for lure fishing and very comfortable and stable, with the side of just the right height (gunwales). It was all money and time well spent, and, an unforgettable experience to keep. He is the quintessential Aussie character. Thank you Robert, hope to fish with you again sometime. Cheers.
absolutely incredible. this was our first fishing trip and robert taught my daughters 10&12 how to cast and fish. they didnt want to go home . the knowledge of the area and robert was more than a guide it was so comfortable it made you feel like you were fishing with your best friend. the girls are already wanting another trip booked! highly recommend

Always been on the bucket list to catch a barramundi and Robert helped us tick that one off. Covered lots of water, if one area didn't work he moved us on to the next. A fantastic day and Roberts knowledge was invaluable....a fantastic day all around with plenty of barra landed
