I had a free day in Newport Beach and wanted to get out on the water. Being the winter season, the major game fish were gone but Captain Shannon put me on fish from the beginning of the day to the end of the trip. Had constant action and boated 5 different species of fish. My first fishing trip on the Pacific was a success. I look forward to coming back for a summertime fishing adventure. We went and fished some Skulpin! Was a lot of fun got bit as soon as we dropped our bait down and he even put us onto a good food spot that cooked our fresh fish for us for cheap! Worth every dime.

Our family of 4 were going out for our first deep sea experience.  We were going off season and my only hope was that the kids got to pull something in.  Well after getting situated we were able to pull about 10 fish an hour.  Captain Shannon was great with the kids and generally showing us the routine.  I would 100% go out again on this trip.
