Belgian olympic team meets ODF Madeira
Friday we went fishing with the guys of ODF Madeira, without knowing what to expect. We arrived at this beautiful little harbour, and immediately we were greeted by the fishing crew. They guided us on the boat, explained us everything and provided us with nice drinks and food. From here we took off for a 8 hour fishing trip. We immediately started trolling for the big game fish, so no time was wasted. In the meantime all our questions were answered and we had a relax time before we could start with the full out fishing. After a while we stopped and started to fish and they guided us too some nice fish. Fish after fish came on the deck, we had no time for eating. Hours flew by and we never stopped having fun. At a certain point we hooked a big one, it took us 2,5 hours of fighting and sadly our line broke, this can happen, but we didnt regret it. Eventually we ended with a small blue Marlin catch, and we almost cried. Perfect guidance of the crew. We went back trolling and were provided with a nice coffee, good laugh and great stories. Wonderful team, Belgian BIG GAME TEAM, it was an honor for us to have your presence on board. Lots of joy, fun, some vomiting, but everything was enough to have fun.
