Experienced fisher - first time sea fishing

Full Day Trip – Inshore2 adults

This was a full day fishing trip around the islands and somewhat off-shore - we were casting, jigging, trolling with lures and live bait. Captain Felipe found good spots in the first few hours where we were catching a lot of fish: white tuna, snapper, rooster, grouper - at a certain point we were just throwing them back in the water. I highly recommend Vela Vivaz. Overall the communication was good, we had a big adventure and had lot of fun.

    The most incredible and intense fly fishing trip I have ever been on. We had a great time out there. Their boating skills are very advanced and they we’re accommodating of my intermediate fly casting skills

    Best! Day! Ever! Incredible Boat, Captain and Crew!

    I’m already planning a trip back to fish with Capt Filipe!!!! Captain Filipe and his brother worked extremely hard for my wife and I. We had one goal and that was to catch a sailfish. Even though the weather was tricky (bad winds) the captain was very honest and straightforward that it was going to be hard to find a Sail in the conditions at hand. We ended up catching a Sailfish, which had been a 15 year dream of mine! I’m certain that we only hooked up due to the hard work, knowledge and perseverance of captain Filipe and his first mate. If you’re looking for a true blue water experience, fish with these guys, the crew and vessel are top notch! Tight Lines!

    Fly fishing

    The morning was excellent! Caught fish on the fly. Although we didn’t hook rooster fish we had multiple shots at them. Can’t wait to return and fish again!
