Captain Kevin and first mate Steve were a great bunch of guys. Extremely polite and talkative. They definitely did their best to make sure we landed as much fish as possible.
Trip started off slow and hard with 4 rods that went and we just couldn't get a hook to hold in a fish. A little time went by and we had another rod go and got a nice steelhead in the boat and that was the start to a great ending. we had slow and steady bites out to the end of the chater from there. we ended te evening with 1 lake trout, 3 steelhead, and 2 kings, one of which had to be close to 20lbs. Captain Kevin worked his butt off to put us on the fish. As he was packing up for the night we had a triple go and landed 2 of those fish. They did great as we had a 3 year old out with us. we will be back for anther trip in the future!
WOW! 🤩🤩 Captain Bob and 1st mate Kevin were amazing! This was our families first time being on a boat and to Lake Michigan. Our son who is 9 had the best time of his life. They really made this day memorable. We caught 10 out of 15 fish and to top it off we hit the GRAND SLAM! We caught all 5 species in our afternoon trip, bringing home lots of fish! If you’re looking for a charter I highly recommed this one. Captain Bob and 1st mate Kevin are very knowledgable and work very hard to get the fish. We went out with Capt Kevin and Steve and these two guys were AMAZING! They did anything and everything to get fish on the line! We were a group on non-smokers and it was great to have a Capt. & 1st mate not chain smoking which we’ve experienced before. I can’t say enough good things about the trip, we had 4 of us and we caught 9 fish! Some monster trout and a salmon too! They worked the waters figured out what worked for that day and made got fish on the line. They were great people and handle the boat and us crew well and with respect! My only suggestion would be to tip in person, we tipped electronically cause it prompted me to (which was fine) but the experience we had I really wish I would’ve handed them cash to really say thank you! Thanks Kevin & Steve WE WILL BE BACK!
Captain Kevin was awesome, he worked hard all day to get us some good catches. First mate Steve was a joy to be around and had some great stories to tell. We had 4 people and caught 5 big fish. The boat was clean and well equipped, the crew was able to answer all of our questions, and we had a ton of fun. 100% will use this charter again. Top tier people, top tier fishermen. Bob and Kevin were so much fun to spend fhe day with. We got an amazing trout haul and had a blast doing it. Bob and Kevin were super honest regarding weather and waves and as flexible as they could be with rescheduling so we could enjoy our outing to the fullest. We will book witu them again in the future. I highly reccomend this crew.
