The Highlight of our Alaska Trip

Our family had an amazing time fishing the Knik River. The scenery was absolutely spectacular, and the experience was one we’ll always remember. Addyson was thrilled to catch a salmon, which made the trip even more special. Captain did an outstanding job taking care of our family, making everyone feel comfortable, and putting us on the fish. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide or a better day on the water. Thank you for an unforgettable Alaska experience. Highly recommend!

Got skunked…but had fun!

Our guide, Doug, was excellent. Super friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and generally an awesome guy. The weather and scenery made the day worth it, even though we didn’t land a fish. Had a few nibbles and one on the line that got away. Based on everything I read/saw prior to booking, I’d never believe we wouldn’t catch a boatload of fish if you’d have told me that ahead of time, but here we are. No regrets!!!

Fun day out on the water!

Even though we didn't catch any fish, other people on the boat did (Including a massive King Salmon!!), which is awesome since we were fishing towards the tailend of the season, our guide was friendly and had some fun stories to share with us. Overall I would go out again when the salmon were running a little earlier.

What a peaceful and beautiful day! We only caught one fish but the trip was worth every moment! Catching fish would’ve been a plus but who knows when you’re going to catch fish! Our guide Doug is the greatest ever! The overall experience was phenomenal! Thanks again Doug!

Ray was awesome even though the fish weren’t biting but thats fishing. seeing the mother bear and 2 cubs standing on their hind legs, seeing the piebald moose and her newborn calf trying to climb the riverbank and seeing the eagles made it very memorable! thanks for the memories
