Our first ever Alaskan fishing trip on Blue Fox was amazing!! Captain Zach and mate Ben were right there for our every need, and had us catching fish right from the start. We just loved our day-and it sure helped that the weather was beautiful! We definitely recommend the Blue Fox and crew for your fishing adventure!
We had an excellent time!! Forrest told us it was going to be a tough day of fishing. He worked very hard to get us on fish and Lars worked equally as hard helping us catch them. They both had great attitudes and knew what they were doing. Forrest made sure everyone got there fish. Our group was great and we would recommend them to take our friends out!! I really appreciated all there hard work. We caught halibut, salmon, cod and a few different fish also.
Zach and Lars are THE BEST and gave us the ultimate fishing day! We lucked out with weather, but everything else was credit to having an awesome crew who really knew what they were doing. We hit our limit on halibut, caught a few rockfish, and then pulled in cod after cod after cod with our kids running to reel in whichever line had a fish - sometimes four or five lines at once 😂 We might not ever be able to go fishing again - it was too good! Thank you so much for giving us such a fun day that our boys said was one of the best days of their lives. Would 100% book this again.
For our first chartered fishing trip in Alaska, this trip set high standards going forward. Captin Zack and 1st mate Larz were both very knowledgeable and had a lot of advice from best tasting fish, to processing, to shipping. The day was sunny and water was mostly calm. We caught our limit of rock fish and halibut plus we had a blast catching cod! I especially enjoyed that Zack made it a “team” experience and Larz offered to take pictures multiple times of me holding my fish! :) They were both very nice and had great sense of humor! Absolutely recommend Captin Zack and Larz! We will be back to fish with them again!
Captain Forrest and Ben could not have been better! Fun and friendly personalities mixed with skill, helpfulness, a great boat, and putting us on the Fish made for the perfect trip. Beautiful tours through Kachemak Bay on an absolutely stellar boat from one fishing spot to another. Took our limit on halibut and also some bonus cod with fast and furious action, mixed with postcard perfect surrounding beauty, and lots of laughter! Will definitely book with them again if we are privileged to come back to this beautiful place. Thanks guys.😁🎣 eric.
I have personally taken many charters over the years, this is by far hands down the BEST charter I have ever been on, Zach and Lars were immediately welcoming and friendly as me and my group of 4 entered the boat, they immediately got us on fish as we left the bay, these guys are seriously knowledgeable and nice guys. Highly recommend would come back to these guys every time. 10/10 experience
