Cody was an Amazing guide, had such a great experience out on lake Taneycomo with him, he was patient with me and put us on some trophy size Trout.. I will definitely book with him again!
I wanted my 10 year old son to have a memorable first fishing trip. I read reviews for months and Cody’s reviews said he was great with kids. Bonus that he had an 8am trip available in August so we didn’t have to get up super early. My son absolutely enjoyed every minute of it. He was appreciative that Cody took the time in teaching him how to cast and feel for biting fish. By the end of 4 hours, I could hear the whip of the line when he was casting. Cody was patient and a great teacher. He took the fish off the hook and baited faster than any of us could. It gave us every opportunity to reel in an abundant amount of fish. We caught about 20-25 Rainbow Trout in 4 hours. We highly recommend Cody! We will book with him again in the future.
My dad and I had a fantastic time on our trip! Cody’s brother Derek took us out and we easily caught our limit of trout. He then took us down to another spot where we got a nice-sized bass. Derek was amazingly knowledgeable and a super nice guy. I learned a ton and had a lot of fun. I’d 1000% recommend either of these brothers and I will definitely be looking them up again for my next fishing trip.
If you want a guide who truly knows his craft, book with Cody! My wife and I just finished our second trip with him, and the experience was top-tier. Cody’s expertise is incredible—he taught me a new finesse technique (the Neko rig) that helped me land a massive 19-inch smallie. He’s a patient teacher and a total pro who genuinely cares about making you a better angler. We can’t wait for our 2027 trip!
Cody wasn’t able to take us out, so he set us up with brother Derek Spetz who runs DCS Fishing in Branson. He was amazing from start to finish. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and great with kids. We had a Blast and caught over 20 fish. Blue Gill, small and large mouth bass, and spotted bass. If you have kids and want to get on the fish these brothers are the ones to get with.
We got out on the water a couple afternoons ago and had an incredible two hours. Found some great spots, caught bass, and spent most of the time laughing and swapping stories.
