We had a great time out with Captain Dan. We caught a variety of fish in our 4 hour trip and Captain Dan was helpful, funny, and very knowledgeable on fishing techniques. I would not hesitate to book with him again.
Took 6 yr old grandson for 2 hours and it was great. Captain Daniel had all the fishing gear, warming shack and ATV to transport us across the ice. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and experienced and it put us at ease. It was slow at first, but fishing in good weather with warm shack was still fishing! When the fish finally started biting, it was all at once and we were not disappointed! Captain Dan made sure our grandson experienced all the fun: tugging on the line, reeling in the huge Northern Pike, and largemouth Bass, holding fish for pictures and releasing them headfirst very gently! 2 hours yielded 3 Pike, 1 largemouth bass and a little boy who wants to be a fishing guide just like captain Daniel. Thank you for a great ice fishing trip.
We had nonstop opportunities to chase our target species, and the action never really let up. Even better were the surprise fights—hooking into bullhead, largemouth, and a northern pike on light panfish gear made every moment exciting. Picked up some great techniques from Captain Dan, who was incredibly knowledgeable and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Already looking forward to the next trip.
The Captain definitely knew where to fish. We brought in a few nice Bass and Northern. We lost a few that felt very nice. That’s not on him, thats on us lol. We had a great time.
Dan put us on the fish again. My son caught 3 pike, 2 of which were good size. He also caught 4 bass, 3 of which were good size. Dan knows where the fish are and he knows how to catch them. We will be definitely using his services again. Book him and you won’t be disappointed.
I told Captain Dan that we wanted to target largemouth bass and pike. He took us right to a great spot. My 11 year old son , who is new to fishing, caught a big bass and 4 northern pike! I even caught a couple of pike myself. It was an epic day! Captain Dan was on time, he is very nice and personable, he was very patient and he put us on the fish! I highly recommend his services. He really knows what he’s doing.
