Successful and fun trip
My brother-in law and I booked a 8 hour trip and wanted to catch fish we could eat. We told the outfit that we were flexible on the dates, and could go on whatever day they decided would be best both weatherwise and windwise. As Captain Donny was in Alaska, we went with Captain Steve. And Captain Steve did not disappoint. He put us on trout, snapper and bass. While we didn't catch any world record sized fish, we certainly caught a lot more than we kept (we threw them back due to either size or out of season status). We ended up with 7 trout, 17 snapper and 3 bass.....much more than I expected. Captain Steve is very nice and knowledgeable about the area, and is also very patient. We will certainly be booking another trip with Coast Runner Outfitters next year!
