Great trip with Austin we caught a lot of fish several different species. Definitely recommend taking a trip with him.
Thank you so much for the kind Review Anthony. I had a great time with you and your first mate during a trip. Looking forward to our next Adventure. - Captain Austin
Our experience with captain Austin at tannic water adventures was an absolute 10/10! Everything about our trip was perfect captain Austin was incredibly patient and extremely knowledgeable about all of the species we caught and the water way we fished as a whole. Within the first 10 minutes of fishing we had 3 fish in the boat and it didn’t stop there as we caught over 20 plus fish through the corse of the day. I would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Tannic water adventures for absolutely anyone wanting a peaceful trip full of fish from anyone if you’ve been fishing your whole life or never touched a rod before we will definitely be booking with him again in the future !
Thank you so much, Chase! I really appreciate you taking the time to leave such an awesome review. It was a blast having you guys on the water, and I’m glad the fish were fired up from the start! You both did a great job out there, and I’m looking forward to another round next time you’re back out — we’ll see if we can beat that 20+ fish day! 🎣 - Captain Austin
Coldest day since last Winter, turned hot with catches. This charter is definitely the “reel” deal. Captain Austin puts you on them. He is raw and knowledgeable. Listen to his instructions and you will catch fish. This was our 5th charter this year, and the best by far. Love the marina location, Captain Austin knows the holes, has great equipment and damn good at telling you how to get them in the boat. Planning another trip with Tannic and is now my go-to for inshore fishing. Thanks so much Captain Austin for making a cold day a hot ending!
Thank you for your incredible five-star review! We’re grateful you chose Tannic Water Adventures for your fishing charter and thrilled to hear you had such a memorable experience. Providing top-quality service on the St. Johns River is what we strive for, and feedback like yours means a lot. We appreciate your support and look forward to welcoming you back for another Jacksonville fishing adventure soon. -Captain Austin
My kids thoroughly enjoy fishing with capt. Austin. We caught quite a bit of rainbow trout and drum and came home and had dinner. Austin is top notch. Scheduled for Thursday but high winds were in the area and he conveniently adjusted his schedule to take us out on a warm calm day on the river. We highly recommend Austin and Tannic Water Adv.
Thank you so much, Bachir! That means a lot to me. I’m really glad we were able to make the adjustment with the weather and get you and the kids out on a nice calm day—that’s what it’s all about. Sounds like y’all put together a pretty solid dinner plan too with those trout and drum! It was a pleasure having your family onboard. Watching kids enjoy the experience and get excited about fishing never gets old for me. Y’all were awesome to fish with. Looking forward to having you back out there again soon! 🎣 - Captain Austin
Went out a bit early since we got there early and stayed a little later than required since we were catching. Caught a bunch in my book and cleaned them for no extra charge.
Thank you, Mitchell! We really appreciate the awesome review. When the fish are biting, it’s hard to head back to the dock! 🎣 I’m glad we could get you out a little early, keep the action going, and send you home with plenty of cleaned fish. Thanks for choosing Tannic Water Adventures—hope to have you back aboard again soon! 🙌🐟
Our family enjoys boating and fishing. It was enjoyable for everyone to see the city from a different perspective, while encountering lots of dolphins, a manatee, and catching some fish, including our first flounder. Cpt Austin was knowledgeable, friendly, and encouraging to the adults and our children ages 15 and 4.
Thank you so much for the wonderful review, Robert! It was a pleasure having your family aboard. Trips like yours are exactly why I love what I do—getting to introduce families to everything the St. Johns River has to offer. Seeing dolphins, a manatee, catching fish, and landing your family's first flounder all on the same trip made for a pretty special day! I'm especially glad everyone, from your 4-year-old to your 15-year-old (and the adults too!), had a great time. Thank you for trusting Tannic Water Adventures with your family's memories. I hope to welcome you all back for another adventure soon—there's always something new to see and catch here in Jacksonville! Tight lines! 🎣🐬 - Captain Austin
