On our recent trip to Pompano Beach my husband and I couldn’t decide if we wanted to do canals or Everglades trip so we did both with Captain Manny and it was absolutely fantastic! He was knowledgeable, personable and a lot of fun to fish with and he expertly guided us to some fantastic fishing spots. Even though the Peacock bass were not biting he was persistent in trying both live and artificial baits and all his favorite hot spots. We were able to pick up a variety of other fish and we had 2 very enjoyable days on the water. I highly recommend him!

My wife, Yasmin, and I recently had the pleasure of going on a fishing adventure with Manny in the Florida Everglades. Throughout the day, we caught numerous Peacock Bass, making the trip memorable and enjoyable. Manny was not just a guide but a companion who enhanced our experience in every way.

Manny was incredibly attentive; whenever we needed assistance, he was right there. My wife, being new to fishing, encountered several issues with her line, but Manny was always quick to offer help without us even needing to ask. He provided cold drinking water, shared valuable fishing tips, and enriched our day with fascinating historical and local knowledge about the Everglades. Additionally, he was always happy to answer our numerous questions—perhaps a bit too many, considering we’re from Canada!

What truly set Manny apart was his genuine and sincere desire for us to have the best possible experience. His down-to-earth personality made us feel as if we were spending the day with an old friend rather than a professional guide.

Had an awesome time with Captain Manny. Hooked up on a couple peacocks and largemouth, and more than a few tilapia! Great guy, fun to fish with and hang out, fish weren’t really cooperating but he went the extra mile to put us on them. Saved his info to book him again next time I’m in South Florida!
