  Special 5 hour trip for Paul Hammond on June 3, 2026 • 2 adults

  I made a specific enquiry with Ian at The Fish Whisperer regarding light tackle lure fishing, targeting various species of Trevally, etc and they delivered exactly what we were looking for. We caught Bluefin, Yellow Spot and Golden Trevally along with various smaller species of snapper and grouper all on light gear which is fantastic sport. Sam worked hard to put us on fish all afternoon and we were rewarded with some tremendous action just as the sun was setting on Le Morne. I've fished all over the world and this is one of the most enjoyable trips I've experienced. I hope to be back at some point to catch that elusive GT!

  2 full days of fun and action with fish whisperer

  i booked 2 full day trips with fish whisperer before we came to mauritius. days before the trips captain michael contacted me about departure times and location. we arrived at le morne a.c to find the boat loaded and ready to go. it is important to leave early to ensure the early tuna bites aren't missed and each trip we were first to leave. Michael and his crew are on it, working tirelessly to keep the action going. we caught a good ammount of bonito, skipjack and yellowfin tuna and also some dorado. we didn't get the marlin we hoped for but nothing is ever guaranteed in fishing. we are looking forward to coming back and trying again in the future and will definitely book more days with fish whisperer. 100% recommend you book with them

  Great trip out with michael on the fish whisperer

  I was highly recommended to have a trip out with michael on the fish whisperer and it didn't disappoint. A very early start and empty docks proved why he and his crew are so successful. We motored out to the first spot in total darkness and upon arriving the crew worked so hard to get us some bites which they said has been hard found in the last few days. We had a few wahoo and a nice yellowfin before moving off and trolling. I was especially impressed with the quick change of discipline upon spotting other fish nearby. We ended up with 3 wahoo 3 dorado and a lovely yellowfin. Michael and his crew are very professional and happy.to help/explain what is going on and what is needed to do. We had a great experience overall and would highly recommend booking when in mauritius. See you again for sure

  Absolutely Incredible Experience!!

  I wasn't sure who to choose for my fishing trip but I chose fish whisperer because of the excellent reviews and I was not disappointed!! I booked the 9 hour day trip, and we started out at 430 am (the tuna bite more in the morning as they are closer to the surface). I was a little worried, as I was going by myself a single lady from Canada. The captain and crew were welcoming and safe and explained to me what they were doing the whole time. They told me how they use the FAD to lure tuna schools, and the captain could even find fish and know what kind of fish based on the birds and how the birds were flying overhead. He also made sure to talk to me alot which was nice, I felt very included. They offered lots of water or soft drinks. We caught 4 yellow fin tuna, and 3 Mahi Mahi (and they said that was a slow day for them). They taught me how to reel them in, and taught me alot about deep sea fishing. One of the best parts was around the end of the trip, one of the big lines got a fish on it and they told me to get in the fighting chair and get ready to reel.It was a huge sailfish (40kilos) . I could barely reel it in as I myself am only about 56 kilos but they told me keep going keep reeling so eventually after a fight I got it to the boat and they lifted it in. It was massive. We also saw a sperm whale that swam right up beside our boat.They took lots of pictures of me with all the fish we caught. It was one of the highlights of my trip and I'm so happy I chose the fish whisperer. They truly are masters of their craft!! Thank you to the captain and crew!!!

  Ich habe 2 half day Trips und 1 Full day Trip gebucht und wurde bei keinem enttäuscht. Michael weis genau was er tut und führt jeden zum Fisch. Neben zahlreichen Thunfischen haben wir auch Bonitos und Mahimahi gefangen. Michael wusste zu jeder Zeit mit welchem Köder die Fische beißen. Nachdem die Trips vorbei waren konnte man mit bisschen Glück auch noch Wale und Delfine sehen. Ich kann Fish Whisperer wärmstens weiterempfehlen!!!
