Flew in last minute.and Mike had a open spot..he carried us out on a 5 hour trip and we enjoyed every minute of it..caught my personal best trout and had plenty to eat..would definitely go again..his boat is amazing a very nice rig to fish from ...you can't go wrong with this one

Captain Mike took a couple of South Louisiana boys (my 14 yr old son and I) out for a half day trip on Galveston Bay. Learned a new technique (dredge fishing), specs were large and plentiful, and my son caught a new PB 24 incher. Captain Mike was great to deal with. Communication was easy, and appreciated his openness about what species were biting at this time of year. Boat was in great condition with plenty of room. Would definitely recommend him as a guide!

I booked this trip for my wife's first saltwater fishing experience. Captain Mike was patient and took his time making sure she knew how to use the equipment and worked hard to keep us both on fish. We limited on trout plus several keeper drum and a 27" redfish. A big bonus was a 20 minute fight with a jack that Captain Mike estimated at 50 pounds. I got him close enough to the boat to see several times but he ultimately broke off. On light tackle, it was amazing. Captain Mike used the boat perfectly to keep me with line available to work the fish. I'll definitely book with him again. Highest possible recommendation!
