Captain Nick is excellent, extremely patient, a great mentor, and a gentleman. This was our 2nd time with him, and he did not disappoint. We'll be going back every year.
I have a unique perspective. I also run charter's but in deep water off the coast of Los Cabos, Mexico. I've logged over ,000 $15,000 hours fishing in my career and run my own charter operation. We just fished for different things. The boat is top notch with a reliable new motor. The gear is top notch and the captain knows exactly what he's doing.. hHeHee knows the local spots where the fish aggregate and we had an absolute blast. Great job Captain!! One day if you ever make it to Mexico, look me up in Los Cabos and I'll take you out.
All 3 of us started catching fish within 10 seconds of first cast. We had more than enough for dinner for 5 within the first hour. Full service fishing trip. All you have to do is cast, catch & reel. Even though we were capable of baiting our own lines, Captain Nick was so fast, you didn’t have time to do it yourself. The only time we weren’t catching fish was when we were dodging rain and reloading on bait and those were welcomed breaks.
June 15th was not only father's day but my birthday. The day before I had a charter cancel on me after booking in advance. I found Nick and he made it happen for me and my wife last minute. Left the marina and within minutes he put us on the fish and he didn't stop despite conditions not being in our favor. Very knowledgeable and personable. I would recommend Nick time and time again. Will be my charter captain many times to come.
My 7-year old son and I went out for a half day trip. The trip was great! We tried a number of different spots and were regularly catching fish. The captain did a great job helping us keep lines baited and in the water. We caught multiple species, including a couple fish to take home and a beautiful tarpon. Overall a great experience and would highly recommend.
This was our second time and second year fishing with Nick. Both times were a great experience and would fully recommend this charter to anyone looking to have a fun and exciting day on the water. Both times we caught enough for dinner with leftovers for lunch the next day. If it’s calling for cooler weather as it was when we were out in February, make sure to bring a sweater and a towel/blanket for when you are on the move. Thanks again to Nick and look forward to fishing with him again in the future.
