Šta ribolovci kažu o Almaco Jack ribolovu
- 5.0/5(7 Hours – Offshore Deep Sea Fishing)
Plenty of fish!
we had a great time on our fishing trip. Captain Brandon was fantastic. He knew where the fish were and put us on them all day! We targeted Amber Jacks and snapper. Had a limit of vermillion snapper in the first hour or so then went after some bigger fish. We ended up catching 3 amber jacks but all were just short of the size to keep. We limited out of red snapper as well and caught once nice Almaco Jack. Definitely will book with Capt. Brandon again!
- 5.0/5(Full Day Trip)
Great time and a great Captain
we caught a ton of fish all day long and had rods going off all day, Captain was great, felt like we were right at home and he made everyone a part of the trip
- 5.0/5(Half Day - Reef & Wreck)
Greatest fishing trip ever!
We caught yellow tail, rainbow, and Jack. They cleaned and fileted the fish. Offered great recommendations on where to have them cooked. Absolutely the best time fishing.
- 5.0/5(Catch, Clean and Cook Adventure)

O Almaco Jack ribolovu
Almaco Jack fishing is all about power, speed, and action near structure. This tough Jack is a favorite for anglers who want hard fights and steady hookups around reefs, wrecks, and offshore rigs. It hits fast, digs deep, and tests both skill and gear.
You can target Almaco Jack by reef fishing, wreck fishing, and offshore fishing. Vertical jigging works well; drop a metal jig to the bottom, then wind and lift fast to trigger strikes. Live baitfish or squid also draw bites, and trolling deep-diving plugs can cover water. Spinning and popping near bait schools or current lines often bring explosive surface hits.
Expect fast runs and stubborn, circle-the-boat battles. Beginners can succeed with simple rigs and clear coaching, while experienced anglers enjoy the workout of jigging and short-pumping heavy fish from structure. Bring sun protection, a hat, polarized sunglasses, and non-slip shoes. If heading offshore into deeper water, consider motion-sickness meds. Check with your captain about tackle, ice, and whether you can keep your catch.
Before you go, review local fishing rules. Check license and permit needs, open seasons, and any size or bag limits for reef fish. Confirm gear rules around wrecks and reefs, and follow local guidance on harvest and release. Regulations change often, so always verify them close to your trip.
