Wellston Rainbow Trout (Steelhead) Fishing Charters

If the thought of chasing sizeable Trout and Salmon for 8 hours makes you happy, then this is the expedition for you! You'll have more opportunities to cast your line further down the Manistee River and spend more time working with you on your preferred techniques. Steelhead and Brown Trout, as well as Coho and Chinook Salmon, are all there for the taking. All you need for this trip is drinks, food, snacks, and a valid fishing license.

Half day trips with Ken are great for first-time fishermen and children. You'll go over the basic gear and knowledge that you'll need to hook your first fish. You'll fish the upper parts of the river for beauties like Brown Trout, Steelhead, Chinook, and Coho Salmon. Bring your fishing license with you, as well as drinks and snacks.

Come do battle with some of the biggest fish in Michigan. We will be fishing either body baits or floating skein underneath a bobber in September. All rods have spinning reels with long rods. In October, we bottom bounce beads and yard with spinning reels. All you need is a license and warm clothes, I have all the gear you will need. The peak time where I can guide is Sep 25 - Oct 15 for Salmon. Most of September is on the Betsie. Weekend trips will be run by my qualified co-guide.

October and November fall steelhead fishing on Big Manistee river. The Big Manistee river offers some of the best fall steelhead fishing in the state i have very limited availability for this month. In my opinion some of the best fishing of the year

8-hour Manistee River fishing trip. The trip includes all rods, reels, tackle, and a hot grilled meal. Heaters are provided on colder days. Bring a MI fishing license and proper clothing for the weather. Gratuity not included. This trip is seasonal.
