West Palm Beach Fly Fishing Charters

The half day trip is best for the nearshore waters where targeted species include Barracuda, Cobia, King Mackerel, and more.

This trip gives us more fishing time, important when slack tide hits in the middle of a 4-hour trip. Possible target fish include King Mackerel, Snapper, Cobia, Amberjack, Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, and more.

There, in Palm Beach, it only takes 15 minutes to get out to the fishing grounds. You will have all the time in the world to catch that trophy fish! With all gear and tackle provided, you will be targeting Mahi Mahi, Blackfin Tuna, Little Tuna, Blue Marlin, Amberjack, Cobia, Sailfish, and who knows what else you may find at the end of your fishing line!

Depending on what time of year our tactics differ from day-to-day, we are experts in kite fishing for sailfish wahoo, and Kingfish. Winter time is Sailfish time. Summertime is typically mahi time with all of the other critters mixed in offshore! Palm Beach county is as close to the Gulfstream as any inlet on the entire east coast. All these fish are right out our front door we're typically fishing within a mile or two of shore!!

You'll be targeting some top species and you'll only be 2 miles off the beach! You'll be reeling in the likes of Sailfish, Kingfish, Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Grouper, Snapper, and many more. The captain knows the best spots to go for the most productive day. The fishing gear, licenses, and a case of water are all included in the price. Let the captain know if you wish to snorkel in advance of the trip. Don't forget to bring snacks, sunscreen, a sun hat, and to wear deck shoes.

A great trip that is located in a unique body of water with over 30 linear miles of lakes and canal systems including lake osborne, lake ida, stanley weaver and the Palm Beach canal. We target pelagic, bottom fish, exotic fish, and whatever else is biting! Typically staying within 5 miles from the inlet. Using live bait, or dead bait, we still have shots at mahi, sailfish, tunas, snappers, and more!

There are only a few great fly fishing spots on the east coast of South Florida, and Capt. Hunter knows them all. Only minutes from the dock, you can be casting a fly. All gear is provided, but if you have your own set up you prefer to use, by all means bring it. Jack Crevalle are the most commonly caught on the fly and they put up a fun fight on lighter gear. Aboard Shaka, a 24' Shearwater, you have ample space to cast and able to access skinny water as the boat only drafts one foot fully loaded.
