Georgia Wild Trout is here to give you a personal experience on the wild waters of Blue Ridge. As the best fly fishing guide service in Blue Ridge for wild trout and stocked trout on our public waters as well as hosting trips on the best private water streams in the region, we guarantee a successful day on the water. We have access to more public lands than any other guide service in Georgia via our National Forest Permits which makes our trip flexibility greater, leading to more success on the water.
The stunning scenery here includes backcountry waters, including some spots that only the locals know about.
Around here it's common to go fly fishing, and that's exactly what you'll do. Richard will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. These waters are known for Brook Trout, Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), and more – with any luck, it won't take long to hook into some.
Up to 12 anglers can join these excursions. You'll make your way to the fishing grounds on foot, so be sure to dress for current weather conditions and bring only as much as you can carry.
Don't hesitate to send Tad a message below with any questions you have, including where to meet on the day of your trip.
Be sure to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group ahead of time. You can find out more online, including exceptions that may apply. Plan to dress in layers and appropriate footwear (if you aren't sure what that means, just ask). It's never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, sunscreen, and bottled water, no matter the weather.
Fly Fishing Blue Ridge is ready to take you out on the water. Time to make it happen!

Daniel was an extremely knowledgeable and easy to learn from guide. We loved how he helps us get comfortable with the rod while remaining calm and helpful. We WILL be back to fish under Daniel!
