Island Angler Charters – Island Angler I
The waters surrounding Jekyll Island are a treat for fans of inshore and nearshore fishing. There are numerous hidden inlets and bays dotting the coastline, as well as estuaries and river confluences that provide amazing grounds for fish to feed and breed in. Island Angler Charters takes full advantage of this and will put you on the hottest bite around!
Join the captain on board our brand new 25’ C-hawk with twin 140 Tohatsu outboards. That allows you to waste no time travelling and get down to fishing as soon as possible. She can comfortably hold up to 6 anglers, so put your fishing team together for some an exciting fishing adventure!
You’ll get the chance to try out a variety of techniques, assisted and instructed by the captain as necessary. Bottom fishing, trolling, and popping, all while using light and heavy tackle will give you the best chance at getting that bite. The species you’ll target are all fantastic fish such as Redfish, various Sharks, Barracuda, Kingfish, Spanish Mackerel, Whitings, Silver Kings, and many others.
All required equipment is supplied by the charter captain. Lures and live bait are available, the bait is caught during the trip, it usually takes around 30 minutes. The first mate is on board to assist you and to clean and fillet your catch, but he works for tips so gratuity is appreciated. Customers are advised to bring sunscreen, polarized sunglasses, and adequate clothing with them.

6 Hour Trip – Nearshore or Inshore
Our arms are done .
Fishing with Captain Shelby is a great workout for your arms . We started out catching some bait and for the next 5 hours didn't catch any sharks under 80lhs . Me and my son were in non-stop action . Could barely lift our arms . Then we moved spot's and caught dinner . I had never caught Whiting before . Never went ten minutes before a pole was being bent over . Great time and great captain . We are definitely going to book another trip . It will be our 4 time . Thanks Captain Shelby

Still a great trip!
We went out targeting tarpon, but it just wasn't in stars for us today! But we caught some really big sharks that made for a very exciting and eventful trip! We will just have to come back and try again. Thanks again so much for the great trip Captain Andy and First Mate Trey. As always, appreciate y'all!

4 Hour Trip
Loved it!
I took my 2 kids and niece out with Captain Andy and he and his crew were great! The kids were really looking forward to fishing and they absolutely loved it and were not let down! They caught tons of fish each including, sharks, stingrays, whiting, etc.

6 Hour Trip – Offshore (MAX 5)
Amazing Trip!
We had a blast with Shelby and Trey on this trip! The weather was a little rougher than anticipated so there were some changes to the plan early on but this didn’t slow down our catches at all! All four of us were able to pull in everything from baby bonnet head sharks to a 50lb stingray! We each reeled in some huge sharks and all sorts of stuff in between! The crew was helpful and knowledgeable. Could not recommend more!

6 hour charter with nearly 6 straight hours fishing
We met Andy and Trey at 8am and hit the water. Captain Andy knew a great place to start off of Little Cumberland. We almost immediately got onto rays, sharks, whiting, and I even caught a Jack Crevalle. He had so many lines in the water, it never really lulled. Great friendly service. Always there to bait your hook or fix your setup when you break off. Definitely will be back!
