Island Lure Charters is here to help you experience the stunning waters of St. Simons Island.

These waters are known for Black Drum, Redfish, Bonnethead Shark, Blacktip Shark, Flounder, Hammerhead Shark, Bull Shark, Lemon Shark, Speckled Trout, Tarpon, Sheepshead, Whiting, and more – with any luck, you’ll have tight lines in no time. On these trips, it’s common to troll and bottom fish using light tackle.

Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!

You’ll be casting lines from a 25’ C-Hawk center console that can carry up to 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.

Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Have in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain.

It’s always wise to bring sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
