The Hatteras Blue is a USCG-approved, 51' Buddy Cannady, custom-built Carolina sportfishing boat, detroit diesel-powered with over 800 hp, a very spacious interior, wide beam, and a 24-knot cruise to get you to the fishing grounds first!
We’re fully equipped with radar, loran, fish finder, top-of-the-line custom tackle, and all bait so that we can have the most successful day of fishing possible. For your year-round comfort, we have a fully air-conditioned (and heated) cabin. We’re happy to accommodate corporate, family, and tournament bookings from the first-time angler to the seasoned fisherman.
Fishing here in Hatteras is year-round with fish species including Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Sailfish, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Tuna (Blackfin, Yellowfin, Bluefin), Wahoo, King Mackerel, Mako Sharks, Amberjack, Triggerfish, Grouper, Snapper, Tilefish and many more.

Each year I vacation at OBX with my grandchildren. I take my grandson on a more challenging fishing trip each year. He is now 16 years old, so we took an 11hr charter offshore fishing the Gulf Stream. The day was wonderful. Captain Mike loves to find fish. We caught 5 tuna and two skipjack. Our mate, Cody, was great. The boat and equipment were perfect for the fish we were targeting. I highly recommend Hatteras Blue Charter if you want a great day fishing off the Carolina coast.
I have done enough charters to know an experience crew that cares about the customers experience and these guys where top notch! Thanks guys!
We had a full day with Captain Mike, Warren, and first mate, Cody! I told Captain Mike via text message prior to the trip that we wanted to catch wahoo and mahi-mahi(special order fishing). And, we caught for large wahoo, multiple mahi-mahi with the additional king, mackerel, and black fin tuna. they put us on the fish and Cody was on top of his game! It was the perfect day, and we will be back!

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 7 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
