Longer Days Sportfishing Charters 

My family and I visited OBX for vacation and a deep sea fishing trip was a bucket list item for most of us. Needless to say, we were blown away by the experience. We went on the 11 hour Gulfstream adventure fishing charter with Captain Tom and first mate Hunter. These two were awesome! Captain Tom knew exactly where to put us and Hunter was a mad man on the poles. We were able to catch amber jack, mahi-mahi in a variety of sizes from 5 pounds to the large 30 pounders, and at the end of the day we caught the trophy we came for, a massive marlin. This was one of the best experiences my family and I could have asked for. I would totally recommend Longer Days Sportfishing charter to anyone looking for a great experience and some awesome fishing.

Tom and Hunter were awesome. Tom was able to put us on the fish and keep us on them all day. Hunter was great and has an awesome sense of humor. He kept things light all day and never stopped running around trying to get a fish to bite for us. At the end of the day we had a great haul of fish and a trip to remember.

longer days gets it done. on a day when other boats struggled to find fish tom and hunter worked their fingers to the bones to find them. and we came back with plenty. thanks guys!

Captain Tom and mate Hunter were excellent! We had to schedule with Longer Days last minute as our original charter had to cancel due to weather. So we moved a few days and these guys were so eager to work with us. We targeted blue fins, but the bite just wasn't happening. Instead we caught a mix of blackfin, albacore, and king mackerel. All were a ton of fun to real in. Even with some serious sea sickness, the guys were patient with us and let us recover and kept on the fish. 10 out of 10 would do it again.

All I'd have to do is sit in a chair and turn the reel. But, I get educated along the way. That's more valuable than catching the fish. I thank them for this.

We absolutely loved our trip with Tom and Hunter! Dealt with unfortunate sea sickness but we are sooo thankful we rallied and the team gave us opportunity to decide one way or the other! It SERIOUSLY paid off! Tom and Hunter are a great team and you can tell their year of working together make them even better!

Captain Tom and Hunter did an amazing job showing us the techniques putting us on fish all day. We caught the only blue marlin on Hatteras island that day (200lb blue marlin) and a whole freezer of dolphin (mahi mahi). Our family would definitely recommend fishing with the Longer Days crew!

We had a blast on our trip. You can tell that Captain Tom and his first mate Hunter are very knowledgeable when it comes to offshore fishing and made it a memorable trip. We will definitely be booking several more trips to go out with them in the near future. I highly recommend them.

When we pulled into the pier, we had 71 nice fish of various species. The other two off shore charters had (1) and (3) fish respectively. It was an Amazing experience and more than we expected from any charter on the water. My advice would be book with them ASAP, and take their recommendations!
