Captain Matthew and Captain Christian have been fishing in Destin since the early 90s and have enjoyed a long and successful career on their way to founding Championship Offshore Outfitting and Charters. Their ambition on every trip is to give you something truly special. Choose from a huge list of charters, fishing for anything from four hours up to three days.
Championship Offshore specializes in offshore and deep sea fishing for both bottom fish and pelagic species. On shorter trips, you will be fishing 20-30 miles out for Snappers, Groupers, Triggerfish, and pelagics like King Mackerel and even Sailfish.
At the other end of the scale, multi-day trips head out over 100 miles in search of big game legends like Blue and White Marlin, Yellowfin Tuna, Swordfish, and more. You can also target deep-water delicacies like Amberjack, Scamp Grouper, Vermillion Snapper, and Tilefish.
However long you come aboard for, you won't be disappointed with their 42' Buddy Davis sportfishing boat. The vessel has masses of space, but the captain limits groups to six to make sure everyone gets that five-star fishing experience. The boat cruises a hair under 30 knots thanks to her twin Cummins engines which kick out well over 1,200 HP.
The list of features aboard this beauty can be fairly summed up as 'everything.' Inside, you will find a full head, galley, saloon, and cabins, all blissfully air-conditioned. Up on deck, you have outriggers, downriggers, tube tubes, livewells, a fighting chair, and more fishing gear than you will know what to do with.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had an amazing experience on this deep-sea fishing charter! The captain and crew were knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure everyone felt comfortable, whether it was your first time or you’ve fished before. They put us right on the fish and were great about explaining techniques, helping with baiting hooks, and celebrating every catch. The boat was clean and well-maintained, and safety was clearly a top priority. We caught plenty of fish and made memories we’ll be talking about for a long time. If you’re looking for a fun, professional, and unforgettable day on the water, I highly recommend this charter. Would absolutely book again!

we had such a fun time out on the water with Captain Matthew and Thomas. we had 4 kids with us (6-17 years old) and the patience, help, and teaching from Thomas was nothing short of professional. Having multiple lines in the water, especially as quickly as we were reeling in fish with the kids can definitely be stressful and he handled it like a pro. Captain Matt expertly kept us on lots of different species of fish which is what we hoped for. We can not recommend this crew enough to anyone wanting to do a family trip. The pre/post trip communication from them was outstanding as well.

Captain Matthew kept us ‘on fish’ - moving as needed once bites slowed. Captain Jake (filling in as first mate for the day) made sure we stayed baited up and cheered us on with every landing! Good people… good times. Will definitely book with them again!

Captain Matt has placed and won several tournaments, including five, 1st place finishes and one, 2nd place finish in the 2016 Destin deep sea Fishing Rodeo.
