While no Captain can guarantee the fish will bite, I can guarantee no Captain will work harder to put you on the fish than Captain Phillip of Tarpon Tamer Fishing Charters. He called me before our scheduled trip and asked if we could push the trip back a day or so due to weather after a front stalled in our area. I feel like most captains would have just ran the trip as scheduled. Captain Phillip wanted to make sure my family had the best experience and best chance to catch fish. Captain Phillip and mate Tim were great with my wife and kids and did everything in their power to keep us is the action all day. We will definitely be back fishing with Tarpon Tamer Fishing Charters again! Thanks Captain Phillip!

August caught a 200lb, 76” Tarpon today! Captain was calm, informative, and a great teacher for my son’s first time on a Tarpon! August’s Uncle also caught a 90lb Tarpon today! We will be back next year!
You will not find a better or more experienced captain at Boca Grande. We fished two days with captain Phil on the 10 hour trips. Boat was in great condition, mate (Tim) extremely helpful, and the fishing was awesome! We will fish with Captain Phil and his counter part captain Jeff again that is for sure.
