Saltwater Adventures, LLC.Β
Welcome aboard 'Saltwater Adventures' with your host, Capt. Tony Battista.
The boat is a custom 25' CC that was built right here in Ocean City. It was launched in 2017.
'Light Tackle Fishing' is what we do. We pride ourselves in using only quality rods and reels.
Fishing is a huge passion of Capt.Tony. He has been fishing the waters in and around Ocean City for better than 50 years now.
Even on his days off, you will find him fishing here with family and friends.
Capt. Tony is a great teacher and will do what ever it takes to make sure you have the best experience possible. From beginners to the more experienced, you will learn techniques that will help improve your success on the water.
Capt. Tony has built his businesses telling his customers the truth about the weather and fishing conditions. He is not in the 'boat ride' business.
Somethings can't be controlled, but you wasting your money can.
That being said, there are a lot of factors involved when choosing the best time is to fish. Tides, water temperature, water clarity and wind.
If conditions are not ideal on the day of your trip, Capt. Tony will do everything he can to reschedule you.
Time is also a factor, 'How long of a trip should I book?' The answer varies. Are you looking just to bend the rods or do you want to take fish home with you?
If you are looking for the latter, I would recommend at least a 3 hour trip.
For a family with young kids just looking to bend some rods, a 2 hour trip is just fine. You still have the opportunity to catch a keeper, but time is a limiting factor. These trips are $278.00 and we run 3 a day. 10:30 AM, 1:30 PM & 4:30 PM.
You can find our '2 Hour Trips' listed under the 'Short trips & light fishing' tab. It is highlighted in 'blue' right under our 'PM 4 Hour Near Shore Wreck Fishing' listing.
Also check out our 'Sunset Fishing Trip' and the 'Hook & Cook' option which is available on our 3 & 4 hour morning trips.
Extra time can be added to any of our trips.

π£ Great Day on the Water with Saltwater Adventures! Had an awesome trip with Saltwater Adventures today. There were four of us on the boat, and every one of us caught at least fou fish with a nice variety of species throughout the trip. Flounder were definitely the go-to, and our captain did a fantastic job of moving us around and consistently putting us in locations where the fish were biting. That makes all the difference on a charter. Instead of spending the day hoping to find fish, we stayed on them and kept catching. Great fishing, great company, and a captain who clearly knows the local waters. If you're looking to get out and do some saltwater fishing, Saltwater Adventures is absolutely worth checking out. π£ Four anglers π 4+ fish caught by each of us π Multiple species π₯ Flounder were the stars of the day π Captain kept putting us on the fish Definitely a trip I'd do again. #SaltwaterAdventures #OceanCityMD #OCMD #MarylandFishing #SaltwaterFishing #FlounderFishing #FishingCharter #FishingTrip #TightLines #FishOn #EasternShore #MarylandOutdoors

Hey Jack, Thanks. I'm glad you guys enjoyed your trip with us today. Even if the fish hadn't cooperated, it was good fun with lots of laughs. Hope you enjoy the rest of your vacation. Looking forward to next time.
Today was a great day. The water didn't want to cooperate at first, but that didn't stop Capt. Tony and Mate Mason. They put us on the fish and it was a blast. We ended the day with 10 flounder caught with two keepers (18" and 19"), hooked into a big cow nose ray, and spot 3 cobia. We have been coming to Capt. Tony and Saltwater Adventures for the last four years and he never disappoints. He gets everyone involved from novices to the seasoned angler

Hey John, It was good to see you guys again. Thanks for have faith in us. We never give up. I hope you guys enjoy the fresh flounder. See you next year.
This was our second time fishing with Captain Tony and Saltwater Adventures. We have 8 and 10 year old kids with limited fishing experience, and they took great care of them and made sure they had fun both times. I have had just as much fun with a lot of fishing experience and caught my personal best flounder. I especially like that they specialize in light tackle. We highly recommend Saltwater Adventures!

Hey Russ, Thanks. I'm glad you guys enjoyed your trip and the fresh fish for lunch. Congrats on the big flounder. See you soon.
Our family had a wonderful experience on this trip. Captain Tony and First Mate Mason were great. We caught numerous flounder and were able to keep one, which we then had prepared at the restaurant by the dock. Captain Tony was obviously experienced in knowing reliable spots, etc. overall it was a great experience and would highly recommend

Thanks Alison, I'm glad you enjoyed your trip with us and the fresh fish for lunch. Thanks again.
Capt Tony was phenomenal. We booked a late afternoon bay trip and the water conditions were less than optimal, however, Tony knew just where to go to get us on some fish. His experience is second to none. We landed 5 flounder with 2 being keepers and my family loved it! Captain Tonyβs honesty also shines through, the water quality was getting bad and rather then having us come up blank he credited me with an hour towards our next trip! I will definitely be booking again with saltwater adventures!

Hey Joe, Thanks, I'm glad you and your family enjoyed your trip with us. I hope you enjoy the fresh fish for lunch today. We will see you on your next trip.

I started fishing with my grandfather at age 9. As a child, I grew up fishing on the banks of the Chesapeake Bay and off of the Rt. 50 Bridge in Ocean City, MD. In the early days it was all about Perch (both Yellow and White) and small rockfish. In Ocean City, it was all Flounder. My grandfather loved to catch Flounder. In my early teens I was introduced to trolling. Mostly for Striped Bass and Bluefish on the Chesapeake. These fish would range from 5 to 20 pounds with an occasional fish over 25. It was on one of these trolling trips that I got to experience light tackle fishing for the first time. Late in the afternoon, a school of 10-12 pound Stripers started breaking on the surface. The captain had the mate pull all of the trolling gear in and then handed everyone a spinning rod with a red and white bucktail on it. For the next 2 hours, we made cast after cast hooking up every time. I was hooked! I couldn't get enough of fishing, it's all I wanted to do during my summer breaks!
