Saltwater Adventures, LLC.
Welcome aboard 'Saltwater Adventures' with your host, Capt. Tony Battista.
The boat is a custom 25' CC that was built right here in Ocean City. It was launched in 2017.
'Light Tackle Fishing' is what we do. We pride ourselves in using only quality rods and reels.
Fishing is a huge passion of Capt.Tony. He has been fishing the waters in and around Ocean City for better than 50 years now.
Even on his days off, you will find him fishing here with family and friends.
Capt. Tony is a great teacher and will do what ever it takes to make sure you have the best experience possible. From beginners to the more experienced, you will learn techniques that will help improve your success on the water.
Capt. Tony has built his businesses telling his customers the truth about the weather and fishing conditions. He is not in the 'boat ride' business.
Somethings can't be controlled, but you wasting your money can.
That being said, there are a lot of factors involved when choosing the best time is to fish. Tides, water temperature, water clarity and wind.
If conditions are not ideal on the day of your trip, Capt. Tony will do everything he can to reschedule you.
Time is also a factor, 'How long of a trip should I book?' The answer varies. Are you looking just to bend the rods or do you want to take fish home with you?
If you are looking for the latter, I would recommend at least a 3 hour trip.
For a family with young kids just looking to bend some rods, a 2 hour trip is just fine. You still have the opportunity to catch a keeper, but time is a limiting factor. These trips are $278.00 and we run 3 a day. 10:30 AM, 1:30 PM & 4:30 PM.
You can find our '2 Hour Trips' listed under the 'Short trips & light fishing' tab. It is highlighted in 'blue' right under our 'PM 4 Hour Near Shore Wreck Fishing' listing.
Also check out our 'Sunset Fishing Trip' and the 'Hook & Cook' option which is available on our 3 & 4 hour morning trips.
Extra time can be added to any of our trips.

Capt Tony was phenomenal. We booked a late afternoon bay trip and the water conditions were less than optimal, however, Tony knew just where to go to get us on some fish. His experience is second to none. We landed 5 flounder with 2 being keepers and my family loved it! Captain Tony’s honesty also shines through, the water quality was getting bad and rather then having us come up blank he credited me with an hour towards our next trip! I will definitely be booking again with saltwater adventures!

Hey Joe, Thanks, I'm glad you and your family enjoyed your trip with us. I hope you enjoy the fresh fish for lunch today. We will see you on your next trip.
This fishing trip was better than I ever expected! The mate and the captain were so accomodating. They made we sure that we experienced more than catching fish. They followed a dolphin, showed us where the horses roam on Assateaque Island, and let us swim on the sand bar! We caught flounder immediately. It was the best part of any Ocean City vacation I’ve had so far. Perfect day! I will absolutely be adding this to every Ocean City trip in the future!

I'm glad you and your family enjoyed your trip. I hope you enjoyed the fresh fish for lunch. "Fish Tales" does an excellent job preparing it for our customers once we catch it. I hope you enjoy the rest of your vacation.
Captain Tony and his first mate showed us a great time. They had us on fish quickly and knew exactly what we should be doing. Caught several flounder (including some keepers) and a sea bass in our trip. My brother brought his 12 year old son and he had a great experience thanks to Tony and his 1st mate. Tony cleaned the fish and we were able to take it into fish tales to have it fried up for lunch.

Thanks Brennan, I'm glad you and your family enjoyed the trip and the fresh fish for lunch. It really doesn't get amy better than that. See you next time.

Took wife out for her birthday. Water was a little rough. Caught 2 flounder and about 8 trigger fish. Due to the rough weather the captain offered us another day offishing. You don't find that often. Would recommend contacting Saltwater Adventures if you're planning on your next fishing trip.

Hey Greg, I'm glad you and your wife enjoyed the 2 days of fishing with us. Please enjoy the fresh fish. See you next time.
We had a great trip with Captain Tony and his mate. They were excellent with my whole family and we had a fun time. The rain before did not make fishing great, but we turned it into a fun trip up and down the coast and throughout the bay area. We got within 10 feet of dolphins.Highly recommend.

Thanks Nicholas, I'm glad you and your family enjoyed the trip with us. We will see you next year.

I started fishing with my grandfather at age 9. As a child, I grew up fishing on the banks of the Chesapeake Bay and off of the Rt. 50 Bridge in Ocean City, MD. In the early days it was all about Perch (both Yellow and White) and small rockfish. In Ocean City, it was all Flounder. My grandfather loved to catch Flounder. In my early teens I was introduced to trolling. Mostly for Striped Bass and Bluefish on the Chesapeake. These fish would range from 5 to 20 pounds with an occasional fish over 25. It was on one of these trolling trips that I got to experience light tackle fishing for the first time. Late in the afternoon, a school of 10-12 pound Stripers started breaking on the surface. The captain had the mate pull all of the trolling gear in and then handed everyone a spinning rod with a red and white bucktail on it. For the next 2 hours, we made cast after cast hooking up every time. I was hooked! I couldn't get enough of fishing, it's all I wanted to do during my summer breaks!
