Nautilus Excursions
If you are looking for a fantastic family fun-filled adventure, then you need to book with Nautilus Excursions today. Captain Ron Koyasako has been running charters for nearly 2 decades and will do his utmost to ensure you have an awesome day out on the water with him.
You'll spend the day on a 30' Island Hopper. This is ideal for large groups and families, as 8 can fish on her without bumping elbows. With a 480 HP Cummins engine, you'll be at the fishing grounds before you know it – on the half day trips, the ride can be as short at 10 minutes.
On board are full safety and navigational equipment, including fishfinder. Coupled with Capt. Ron's extensive knowledge, and you'll be on top of the fish all day.
The fish you'll be targeting on the half day trip include Striped Bass, Halibut, and Leopard Shark. This trip is ideal for families with children as the runtime to the fishing grounds can be as little as 10 minutes. There is no minimum age for children and life vests are provided. For children, parents will need to bring small life vests for them instead.
The full-day trip is great for catching King Salmon out of the bay. There is a longer runtime to the fishing ground, but the ride out is worth the catch! As well as King Salmon (also known as Chinook) you can expect to catch Leopard Shark, Rockfish, Striped Bass, Halibut, and Lingcod. First 2 trolling sinkers a free of charge. $7 for every sinker used after.
During the trip, you'll be using top quality Daiwa rods and reels. The live bait you'll use will be prepared before the trip, giving you maximum time fishing.
You are welcome to bring along food and drink (in a small cooler) on these trips. Please purchase a fishing license before the day.

This was the first time for our group of friends to go fishing and crabbing. Pretty good experience! Captain Ron and Captain Dave knew what they were doing and we were able to catch our limit of dungeness crabs and many fockfish including 2 lingcods. The boat was spacious enough for the 6 of us. The only thing to be weary of is to dress warm, bring rain gear, and even if you think you might get slightly seasick take something before to prevent it; Pacific is no joke and I felt the waves getting me nauseous within the first hour or two.

Ramtin, Thanks for trying the Nautilus! Captains Ron & Dave
Capt Ron works hard and really cares about putting you on fish. He does everything to work with you to make sure your fish makes it on deck. Non stop all the way to the fish cleaning at the end. Great Capt to book your trip with.

Edwin, Thanks for trying the Nautilus! we look forward to our next adventure. Captain Ron
Best fishing experience so far. We were 6 people caught 14 fishes and eventually brought 8 home. The captain and the crew made sure we have had enough fun. We got a lot strip bass, some halibut, one sturgeon and one little shark, anda sting ray!

Emma, Thanks for trying the Nautilus! Glad the fish cooperated. We will see you on our next adventure. Captain Ron and Johnny
I planned this out for a bday/first charter experience, Captain Ron and crew member Braden was very helpful in helping us have a good fishing experience on a boat. Both are friendly and easy to communicate with, would definitely like to go on a full day out next time!

Jennifer, Thanks for trying the Nautilus. we look forward to our next adventure! Captain Ron

Fishing has always been Capt. Ron's passion. He started Trout fishing at 2 years old and charter boat fishing at 5 years old. He worked on charter boats for 18 years before becoming a captain. He has sportfished and commercially fished all his adult life. Capt. Ron enjoys seeing the thrill of a new person catching their first fish and anglers catching their personal best. His favorite species of fish to catch is Striped Bass. The captain fishes for it year-round.
