Addictive Sport Fishing 

John is the captain you want for any fishing trip! He put us right on the fish, and we quickly limited out on rockfish with an incredible variety of species. What really set this trip apart was that he didn't stop there. While most captains might not combine rockfish and salmon on the same trip, John made it happen. He also took us to target lingcod, and we came incredibly close to landing three of them before finishing the day catching salmon. It was an action-packed day with nonstop opportunities. As an added bonus, we even got to watch whales during the trip, making an already amazing day on the water even more memorable. A big shoutout to the first mate, Travis, who was absolutely top-notch. He was constantly helping everyone, keeping lines in the water, sharing tips, and making sure the whole group had a great experience. You can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does. Between John's knowledge and determination to put us on fish, Travis's hard work, and the unforgettable day we had, this was easily one of the best fishing charters I've been on. Capt John and Ginger Buddy are my forever crew. literally will not hire another boat. I was catching sharks all day . I shortened the trip because the last cow shark I landed wore me out. Damn these guys are good. Ginger Buddy is so awesome I gave him my Costas. He freaking earned them

the captain had us on fish 🎣 quickly. lots of doublw hook ups. moved to deeper water and fonished our limit of rock fish. also got one ling cod before the rough seas took their toll on two from my party. would definately do sgain, maybe for Blue Fin. drfinately would recommend!!!!

One of the best boats I've booked in the bay area. Knowledgeable, safe, entertaining, and accommodating to your fishing needs. Captain John's experience is evident in his preparation, explanation, and guidance. We all had multiple opportunities to bring in fish from the minute we dropped anchor. John and crew delivered limits on jumbo salmon when other boats were getting skunked. Striped bass and lings too. Honestly one of the best fishing trips I’ve had in 50 years and learned a lot too. My son Jack is still talking about it. Home run day, John! Great boat and top of the line equipment too.

1st time our family went ocean fishing and we loved it! Caught lots of fish: halibut, Lingcod, stripers, and rockfish! My boys had such a great experience. If you want to have a success day on the water, I highly recommend Captain John!

This was the perfect trip to go on! The group was three adults and two 5 year olds. Captain John and his crew not only knew where the fish were biting, but knew how to make the whole experience magical for the kiddos. The boat was immaculate. You know when you go on boats and everything looks clean, but then you go to the bathroom and it’s smelly and gross. Well that was the opposite of this experience. Not only was the boat immaculate, but the bathroom was spotless. That may seem like a random thing to comment on, but if you have kids, well you know how important it is. This was my second trip with Captain John and it was again a great trip. I booked this trip for my son that wanted to catch shark. Captain John took us out and within a couple of minutes of getting out to our first stop, my son was reeling in his first leopard shark. We ended up catch a ton of 7 gill sharks, a couple of leopard sharks, and a couple of sand sharks. It was a great experience and I look forward to going back out with Captain John.

Captain John is a wonderful host who loves fishing and believes in protecting the wildlife in this area. He has been doing this for decades, and his passion and expertise really shines through. We went sturgeon fishing with two children, and under captain John’s guidance, we caught four sturgeon, and even got to bring one home! His boat was beautiful and spacious for the four of us, and his gear was clearly top-notch, including his special formula bait. We enjoyed a wonderful half day and saw lots of action in those five hours. At the end, he even gutted and filleted our catch for us to bring home. The three sturgeons we had to throw back were too large to bring home. It was a thrill to catch them, and felt really good to release them back to the wild. Great lessons for all of us, especially the little ones, on how to properly take care of this beautiful environment. Would definitely recommend Captain John, and hope to one day fish with him again.
