Luck O’ The Irish Fishing Guide Service invite you to explore Lake Tawakoni and make a great catch possible. With over two decades of fishing experience throughout Texas, the captain knows where the fish are hiding and how to get them to bite.
This family-owned and operated company will work hard to make sure you have an unforgettable day out on the water. The captain will do all he can to make sure your time with him is filled with laughter and a lot of catches.
Your fishing trip will take place aboard a 20’ Fishmaster. This is a clean, seaworthy fishing machine with enough room for you and four fishing buddies. It is powered by a single 150 HP Mercury engine and is ideal for a productive day on Lake Tawakoni. There are a GPS and a fishfinder to save you time while you’re searching for the big one.
The boat is equipped with the finest rods and reels by Temple Fork Outfitters, Tightlines, and Extreme Baycasting. You will be provided with RSR lures and will be able to catch your own live bait.
Enjoy your day on the lake and hone your angling skills. Using the most productive methods, you will be able to catch Striped Bass, Hybrids, and Catfish.
As the captain likes to say, “Luck O’ The Irish is the only “Luck” you’ll ever need!”

No luck needed with Luck O’ The Irish!
We had such a good family trip fishing with Cpt. Omar. Easy to find, quick to load up and ready to go as soon as we got there. The ride around the different spots was beautiful and as soon as we could get our line in the water we were jumping to reel them back in! He was mindful of possible weather situations and even took us to different spots to try to snag a few different kinds of fish the boys requested. It was a fun, lighthearted and fast-paced fishing experience! Would recommend him to anyone looking for some fish on action! He filleted and had them all ready to go for us before we left. Make sure to watch for the turtles at the end! :) thank you Omar for a great trip both professional and personable

Captain Omar is worth looking into
Great trip. Surprised we caught so many on artificial lures. Originally I thought we were going to use live bait. It all worked out well. Captain Omar is very personable. We had many common interests so there was no lack of conversation. I had lots of questions and he answered and explained them well. We’re already thinking about taking our grandson sometime in the future

This is our 2nd booking with Jonathan and "Luck of the Irish" charters. We left today right on time and were on top of fish immediately. We were pulling in white bass every time we put the line in the water. Jonathan was amazing. He makes sure that he takes you to the "honey holes" as I call them. We left he marina at 7:30am and we had our limit by 10:00am. The fish weren't small as far as white bass are concerned. They varied in range from 11" to 16". Since we maxed out early, Jonathan was happy to see if we wanted to try for other fish but we decided to head in. Trust me, Jonathan will do everything he can to put you on the fish. I will say that today was the first time fishing in the fog. It was insane. We couldn't see 10' in front of us. It was eerie and fun all at the same time. We will definitely go back and fish with Jonathan again for the 3 time. Book with Luck of the Irish. You get your money's worth!!!

Captain Omar was absolutely amazing! I took my little cousin out on his first fishing trip and our captain was so helpful. He explained everything so thoroughly and gave us many tips. He also answered all of my questions I had. I have already started recommending him to family and friends! We will definitely be back!
