If you’re looking for enjoyment, excitement, and safety all wrapped up into one package, you’re looking for Gizzmo Charters. Captain Mark Szekely will take you out of Conneaut Harbor and into a world of great fishing!
Capt. Mark invites you to join him for an angling adventure on board his 38’ Bertram. She’s a comfortable vessel, with a spacious cabin – you can take a break from the sun or rain inside. With a 14’ beam and 110 sq. feet of floor space, you’ll have plenty of room to battle your trophy across the deck. She weighs in at over 15 tons which creates a very smooth and dry ride, even in the choppy waters of Lake Erie.
A full head toilet is available on board so you don’t have to worry about comfort and can focus on making the perfect cast.
You’ll go after Walleye and Perch as your primary targets but a stray Steelhead is a possibility too. During the summer, you can troll the lake for Walleye and experience the fierce fight these fish offer first-hand. If you’re a fan of Perch, Capt. Mark offers a fall trip from September through October – don’t underestimate these panfish, or you’ll lose them!
The captain will provide you with all the necessary rods, reels, and tackle for whatever fishing technique you decide to do. You can even play some tunes on the onboard multimedia system – all the modern comforts combined with proper freshwater action.
You’ll be fishing with a true angling pro – Capt. Mark has over 3 decades of experience guiding customers and is one of the more influential captains in the area. He even introduced planer boards and dipsy divers to the Ashtabula and Conneaut region!
Kids are welcome on board if they’re 3 years or older but parents should provide comfortable vests for them, if they’re small. Lunch can be provided for an extra fee and you’re free to bring your own food and drinks on board.
Stop dreaming of treating yourself to that fishing trip and book today with Gizzmo Charters. You deserve it.
