Capt. Paul was born and raised in Pensacola, FL. As a Florida native and lifelong fisherman, he knows exactly where the hottest bite is. His wealth of knowledge when it comes to the ecosystem and wildlife of this area is truly top-class. You'll leave your trip not only with an impressive catch, but a great angling education, too!
You'll set out on your adventure in a 22' Proline center console vessel. She's fully decked out with quality fishing and navigation electronics. Combined with your captain's knowledge of this area, you'll be cruising to the fishing hotspots in no time. She can comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests, with 4 fishing at the same time. Want to bring the kids along? She's equipped with all the necessary safety gear, including lifejackets in child sizes.
Depending on the species you want to target, Capt. Paul will take you to an amazing array of locations. You can cruise the wild and wonderful backcountry of the 10,000 Islands for Tarpon, Mangrove Snapper, and more. Or how about heading to Naples Bay for Floridian favorites such as Spotted Seatrout and Snook? There's also the option to travel up to 9 miles out into the Gulf, famous for being home to Redfish, Jack Crevalle, Sheepshead, and many more.

He even moved the boat around to different areas to try to find fish the right size, in order to keep. Very accommodating! Great time out fishing today! Captain Paul was the friendliest Captain and just made us feel like family. He went out of his way to ensure that our experience was everything it could be. He has so much knowledge of the local fish wildlife and decades of fishing experience. He even caught up with a dolphin! Also, He never rushed us in anyway. He was very communicative prior to our day and day of. There wasn’t anything He couldn’t answer. I highly recommend Mangrove Charters.

Captain Paul is professional, kind and so helpful it made fishing with the kids a breeze. The fishing was great, we reeled in a variety of amazing fish with a couple of keepers. But the thing that really stands out is the service. We’ve been out with several charters and the captain Paul at mangrove man is the standout. 15/10.

Fantastic morning with Captain Paul. We caught 40 mangrove snapper and 5 sheepshead in less than 4 hours. Captain Paul is a treasure trove of information on the wildlife and history of the everglades. And he will keep you supplied with excellent fishing dad jokes. Just ask! Highly recommend!
Capt. Paul is a very knowledgeable, patient Captain that goes the evtra mile to give a great trip. he was very helpful with my wife and daughter teaching them to use spinning rods and baiting their hooks and unhooked the fish. I highly recommend this charter.
Captain Paul fort us on fish right away, even with the cooler overnight temps the last couple days. we caught keeper sheepshead, mangrove snapper, Lanes Snapper, sail cats and even Goliath Grouper! Captain Paul kept us on the fish for the entire trip. Highly recommend an outing with MangroveMan!
this was a great experience for first time saltwater fishing, and our kid had a lot of fun. We got a lot of fish.
Our family of 4 fished with Captain Paul today. He was great! Super attentive and quick to release fish and rebait for everyone. We fished 4 spots abd caught fish in each one. Most of us hit double digits of sheepshead and mangrove snapper.

I was born in the panhandle of Florida where fishing and playing in the ocean was a big part of my life. I moved to the Florida Keys when I was 15 and learned all aspects of commercial fishing for about 15 years from long-lining for Shark and Swordfish to Shrimp boats, net boats, Lobster and Crab boats and hook and line fishing for Snapper and Grouper. I have spent most of my life on the water. I have been in the Naples area about 15 years now. I spent 10 years in the Everglades National park as a captain and a naturalist guide, so I have extensive knowledge of the SW Florida Ecosystem. I have been captaining fishing for 6 years in and around Naples Bay and the Gulf of Mexico, but in total, I have been fishing the waters of SW Florida for the last 30 years. Through the many years of travel on the Atlantic and the Gulf of Mexico, I had many adventures. One of them was rescuing Cuban refugees in the Florida Straits. I want to share my love and experience of fishing and boating with you.
