Operating out of different locations throughout Lake Michigan, Whitecap Charters knows where the fish are hiding. Captain Kent Seymour and his crew have a wealth of local knowledge and use the finest tackle to put you on fish.
Step on board the “Whitecap II,” a 27’ American International cuddy cabin. Her twin 225 HP Yamaha engines will power you to the hottest grounds in the area – it will take you around half an hour before you start fishing. Groups of 6 will have plenty of space to fish comfortably at the same time.
The Whitecap II is equipped with full navigational equipment, including fishfinder, to give you the extra edge out on the water. There are full safety features too, so you can fish with peace of mind. Children are welcome aboard, but please bring your own life vests for kids under 12.
Head out anytime from May until the end of October. Fish with light tackle in the spring and summer months or use heavy tackle later in the season. Target the finest species that Lake Michigan has to offer, from Coho and Chinook Salmon and Steelhead to Lake Trout, Brown Trout, Walleye, and Perch. Whatever your level of experience, there is a fish out here with your name on it.
Included in the price is top-notch gear by Shimano, Okuma, and Ugly Stik. These rods and reels won’t let you down when reeling in your trophy catch or personal best. Live bait and a complimentary fish cleaning service at the end of the trip are also included in the price.
Catering will be available if you let the captain know in advance – for an extra fee, he will take care of your lunch and drinks. Please buy a fishing license before the trip.
Book now for an unforgettable time out on the water with Whitecap Charters that will surely have you coming back time and time again. The crew looks forward to welcoming you on board.
