Captain Charlie Bryan is a USCG-licensed native Eastern Shore fisherman, and he can't wait to introduce you to these plentiful fishing grounds!
Capt. Charlie started his professional angling career at a very young age – by 8 years old, he was working as a mate on his dad's charter boat! He grew up fishing the bay, so it's safe to say he knows where the hottest spots to hook Stripers are. Capt. Charlie offers a variety of seasonal angling adventures that are suited for a wide range of fishermen – no matter your age or experience, you'll find something that suits you.
You'll be cruising the bay on a 40' Carman weekender. She can comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests, and you'll all be able to fish at the same time – perfect for families or hardcore angling buddies looking to settle some scores! On board, you'll find top-notch navigational and safety gear, including fishfinder, GPS, a private toilet, and life vests for little ones. There's an ice box for your catch, and if you want to bring snacks, there's room for your own cooler.
It's all about Striped Bass when it comes to the species on offer in the bay, but you'll have the chance to hook Bluefish and Black Drum, too. Your captain will help you try out a variety of techniques to land your catch, including trolling, spinning, jigging, and even bottom fishing. He'll also provide top-notch rods and reels, bait, and light and heavy tackle – try out light tackle if you want some serious rod-bending action!
When you've reached your fish limit, your captain will clean and fillet your catch for you at no extra cost. Your trip also includes a fishing license for all guests. Come aboard CB Charters to chase Striper and make some incredible memories!

Great experience! One of the Best Charters I have been on. It was as if Fish were jumping into the boat. We kept the First Mate hopping from line to line. Would Highly recommend to anyone. We had Fist time and experienced fishermen and all had a great time.
Beautiful family fishing trip today with Brad & his family. Lots of fun had by all.
We had a fabulous Father Son outing. Caught lots of stripers around Kent Narrows. Captain Charlie and his first mate Mark were knowledgeable, friendly, and knew how to put us in the best position to catch Fish. They also had excellent fishing gear and a great boat. We highly recommend.
We had a beautiful morning fishing with David & Jack. Great to see father & son getting out doing some fishing
Charlie was responsive, punctuate and friendly. He knew where all the fish were. My family each brought a large striped bass home, as well as some smaller bottom fish home. We also caught and released additional fish. So much fun and yet so peaceful floating on the water. We would go back to Charlie again!
Nice family fishing trip.
This was best fishing experience anyone in my group has ever had and my nephew is a long time fisherman. Captain Charlie, and his 1st mate Jeff, anchored the boat and helped bait our lines with live Spot. The six of us cast our lines and the action started immediately. Felt like the Rockfish were jumping on the boat. It was unbelievable. We caught approximately 30 Rockfish in less than 30 minutes and had to stop once we caught our limit of 12 between 19 and 31 inches. After catching our Rockfish limit we headed to the Chester River where we caught about 60 or more Spot. The day could not have been any better. I would highly recommend this trip to everyone. Thank you Charlie for creating great memories for my family.

He's had over 40 years of experience crabbing, oystering and, of course, fishing on the Chesapeake Bay, and he loves using his years of knowledge to provide his guests with incredible angling adventures. As well as this wealth of experience, he also has a U.S.C.G. Master's License up to 50 tons, and has been chartering his own boat for 15 years. Come aboard and get ready to explore Chesapeake Bay's fantastic fishery!
