Spend a lovely day on the water and enjoy unforgettable fishing moments with Just For Fun Too Charters. Starting out of Grasonville, you and Captain Jeffrey Councill will head out to the inshore waters of Maryland and have fun chasing many prized fish. The captain has all the skills to help you land a catch and will do everything to make your trip enjoyable. Feel free to call him for any questions and book yourself a fishing adventure in Maryland!
Your boat for the day will be a 32’ Carman bay boat that can accommodate 6 anglers. It runs on a 315 HP Yanmar 6LPA-STP 315 engine and uses full-featured and modern navigation electronics that will provide a safe and quick reach to the fish. The boat is air-conditioned and has got a portable toilet. There’s a refrigerator and an ice-box for storing your food and drinks, and there’s also a livewell to provide you with live bait.I will be adding crabbing trips too
The species you’ll chase include Striped Bass, White Perch, Catfish, Spanish Mackerel, and Bluefish. You’ll be trolling and jigging on light tackle in order to catch them and you’re free to keep the fish your catch. Kids are welcome to come aboard, so do bring them as well.
The only things you’ll need for the trip are snacks and drinks. Captain Jeffrey will take care of everything else, including all the fishing gear, bait, licenses, as well as catch cleaning.

Our family of 4 had a fabulous time on the morning finishing trip. I was worried that the storm a night before would muddy the waters and we would stand no chance of catching anything. But we trusted our captain whose experience came through. Thanks to the second mate, we are having fish for dinner tonight.

What a great day on the water with Captain Jeff. Beautiful boat with plenty of room for us today fishing the Chester River. We caught our limit before the end of our trip and enjoyed watching the crew master the art of striper fishing. I’ve been fishing for over 45 years and learned so much more while listening to Captain Jeff talk about striper fishing in the area with his wealth of knowledge and experience. Highly recommended, we will be back again! 5 stars!

Full Day Trip for Fathers Day
Full Day Trip – Group of Four on June 17, 2022 • 6 adults
We decided to take my father-in-law on a rock fishing trip for Father’s Day. He grew up fishing for them on the bay and we wanted to help him relive some great memories.
Captain Jeff and mate Rich showed us an amazing time. We were fortunate that the fish weren’t too far from where our trip started and we had our limit by 9am. A very blessed day of fishing.
Captain Jeff and Rich were excellent hosts. It was obvious that they were seasoned fisherman. Both men were very personable and easy to get along with. They answered all of our questions and told many great stories.
Given that we caught our limit early Captain Jeff allowed us to fish for baitfish for a large remaining portion of our trip. Very kind of him as we had paid for a full days trip.
Mate Rich helped us with our gear and graciously cleaned our fish for us upon returning to the dock.
Thank you gentlemen for giving us a great Father’s Day gift! We all had a wonderful time and truly enjoyed ourselves.
Would recommend Captain Jeff for anyone looking for a great day of fishing. We will be booking again!
