I will preface this by saying I personally have been on several Charter trips and after this one will only continue using Jus Cuz Fishing. on this trip was myself, my future wife and some family and friends, I was the only one with experience fishing.  Unfortunately Captain Cuz was recovering from surgery and was unable to come with us however he set us up with Captain Bryant!

Communication was great for the trip and I was consistently updated by Captain Bryant on weather conditions for the trip and possibility of cancellation this is why it was not a surprise to me when captain Brant suggested that we move the trip to the 21st due to some nasty weather and (luckily) the customers that originally booked that day not being able to make it out for their trip.
we got out to the water and started trolling out to the area we would be targeting snapper in and was able to catch a few Bonita but nothing else was really biting but we were still having a good time with the Captain and Colby the deck hand on a beautiful day and then out of no where a crazy storm dropped on our heads! winds of 60+mph VERY rough seas and water spouts! however Captain Bryant expertly navigated us through the storm and back towards shore where we were going to call it quits until he saw a patch of clear sky open! he offered to take us for some more trolling so we agreed and after a bit the sky started to clear up and he said we would try to hit some snapper holes and put us on some FISH!
The bite wasn’t too great at first but after trying a few different areas we landed on a sweet spot and not only did Captain Bryant and Colby teach all of my group how to fish for snapper he got us our LIMIT of snapper, all the while we heard the other captains in the area on the radio talking about how they weren’t catching anything today!
Thanks to the crew of the Jus Cuz, what could have been a bad experience for a Group of first time Saltwater fishers + myself ended up being an awesome experience we will talk about for the rest of our lives!

Great morning trip before seas got a little rough courtesy of hurricane Debby. Captain got us right onto red snapper and we had some fantastic fishing. Trip was with my brother-in-law and two nephews and all really enjoyed the trip! First mate was top rated kept the boys in bait, worked with them on the techniques for catching red snapper, and did a beautiful job cleaning the fish when we rolled back to the dock. Boat is very comfortable with great fishing space. We will definitely book again when we have an opportunity to get the family back to the gulf coast!

Just Cuz took us on an amazing fishing trip. Unfortunately the trolling fish weren’t biting but they made up for it by letting us catch so many fish by bottom fishing. We caught so many red snappers and even the biggest one of the season! They really catered to the 8 year old we had on board and he had the absolute best time. Of course the adults also had a blast realing in some big snappers.  Captain Bryant and deck hand Colby were extremely nice and helpful with anything we needed. I would recommend them to anyone wanting to have a great day deep sea fishing.

Captain Bryant was great and put us on the fish.. Ryder is the best first mate we have ever had. He was engaging with the whole family..  we booked last minute and they didn’t disappoint. Our 4 hour trip didn’t take us far out from shore. we trolled and we landed many Spanish and king mackerel. Ryder’s was just as excited as us when we got our 3 tuna and a mahi mahi..

Our family of 5 enjoyed the 4 hour fishing trip.  My two sons and I caught several kinds of fish with Paulie guiding us all the way.  My wife hooked a big one, but it ended up breaking the line.  Even my daughter who was terrified of boats had a good time just riding on the bow and enjoying the breeze and sun.  Would definitely go again, but probably do a 6+ hour trip next time to get more bottom fishing in. Overall a nice trip making some new memories for our family.
