You've seen Costa Rica's beautiful beaches and luscious jungles, it's time to experience the tropical blue waters. Head offshore to the crystal clear Pacific and fish for some magnificent species. From impressive Billfish, to delicious table fish, Pez Gallo will show you all. Captain Ruffino Ruiz started fishing as a child and never wanted to do anything else. He has 35 years behind him running charters, and loves to combine his passion for fishing with his love for people.

The 24' Sea Ray center console is the ideal boat for taking in the scenery, relaxing, and getting your fish on. Restored in 2018, she's a safe, modern vessel. There's plenty of space for up to 3 anglers at any one time, and there's enough covered and uncovered seating for you to decide what you fancy. Fitted with a toilet, you won't need to worry about getting caught short. Just let the twin 140 HP Suzuki engines power you offshore.

Trips range from 6 to 8 hours, with the longer trips designed for some serious fishing. You'll head a little further offshore in order to find the biggest fish around. You don't need to head far from Samara – just 20 miles offshore you can expect to catch a magnificent Marlin, stunning Sailfish, or even some delicious Tuna. Three-quarter day trips will take you to the reefs where you can troll for delicious Snappers, or exciting Amberjacks, Roosterfish, and more.

Whichever trip you choose, you're sure to have fun. Capt. Ruffino and his first mate are committed to providing everything for a memorable day on the water. All food and drinks are provided, including beer, so sit back and get ready to explore Costa Rica's productive waters with Pez Gallo. At the end of the day, your catch will even be cleaned and prepared for you to take back to shore! Don't miss this opportunity if you're in Samara.

6 hour trip with Ruffino Ruiz (Captain)
3/4 Day Trip (AM) on March 20, 20212 adults

Experts Captain and deck hand. Just us two for 6.5hrs. Boat was super clean and perfectly equipped with top equipment. Super friendly and helpful. Ruffino Ruiz has been fishing Costa Rica for all his life. We had an awesome time. HIGHLY recommended (we have done over 16 charter fishing trips and my son and I rated this as one of our favorites!)
