We booked a trip on the smaller boat as it was not our whole group going on this adventure. We still had plenty of room for the 5 of us and Capt Dale. He took us to the usual places he knows and we caught a great variety of fish. He managed some lobster and crab as well! We ate well that night taking the catch he cleaned for us to Omar’s. We did snorkel for a while and that was a great add getting to stop at King Leweys for a bit in the late afternoon. Winds caused us to go home just a tad early, so between the snorkel and that we didnt fish for quite as long as hoped - but definitely was our choice on the snorkeling and we still had tons of fish and fun!

Six members of the Men From Possie group set out to have a wonderful time on a fishing expedition with Captain Edlin of Placencia Fishing Charters and he most certainly did not disappoint. Captain Edlin informed my party that he would take us to location where we would start catching fishing as soon as we drop our lure in the water, and that is exactly what happened. Within minutes of our arrival at the location one of my friends had a Spanish Mackerel on the line, and as another friend was pulling his line in he got a hit. Before long we had caught a number of fish including a couple of bonitos. One of my friends hooked a giant kingfish which eventually broke the line. We were also treated conch diving and were able take him home quite a few of these tasty mulluscs. We then proceeded to bottom fishing where we caught a number of Lane Snappers, Yellowtails, Mahogany Snappers, Dog Snappers, Coneys and Jacks. At the conclusion of our trip Captain Edlin and his assistant helped us to clean the fish so that we could enjoy some for dinner. Throughout the trip our captain ensured that we had a great fishing experience. He also emphasized safety. He proved to be extremely knowledgeable but was also very patient and accommodating. If I ever visit Belize again I will without a doubt book my fishing trip with Captain Edlin and I recommend him without any reservations whatsoever! What an amazing trip!

I’m a 60+ single female and had the time of my life! Lincoln, my tour guide, took very good care of me. We trolled with live bait after he caught the sardines on the shoreline. I caught several fish including yellowfinned snapper that he cooked to perfection once we got to Moho Caye island. Such yummy Caribbean spices. Then we spent a few hours of relaxation and swimming (he also had snorkeling gear if I wanted it). I can’t begin to describe how beautiful that Island is. The water was crystal clear and all the beautiful turquoise and blue colors you can imagine. Then Lincoln took me bottom fishing, which I requested. They cater your fishing experience based on what you want to do. I caught a baby strawberry grouper, a few other species I don’t remember, and a “holy” Spanish mackerel. I will never forget this Christmas in paradise! Thanks for the time of my life!

This was my 4th fishing charter and the first time that a captain put us on the fish.  We caught quite a lot of fish and have been eating them all week. 

He is incredibly knowledgeable about the area and the reef.  He was patient teaching me and my three daughters how to catch the fish.  The only sad part was not getting the 4’ barracuda in the boat. 

I would highly recommend him for your trip.

Wonderful trip with the captain Edlin and Dane.  Both were very knowledgeable experts on the fishing and area - both with family roots in the Belize fishing scene.  We had fun with some tuna, rainbow runners, various snapper, barracuda, etc.  As a bonus we saw turtles, dolphin, and were entertained with a shark catch.
