A’speck Charters
Lose yourself along southern Louisiana’s winding network of inshore bays, bayous, lakes, and rivers. A’speck Charters will keep you safe as you explore every nook and cranny of these intricate, productive skinny waters. Captain Norman Rester is a native to the area and has over 60 years of fishing experience on these waters. He’s living his lifelong dream as a professional angler, and has even passed on his passion to his grandchildren!
The 25’ Majek bay boat is just the craft you want for navigating these winding waterways. Powered by a 250 HP Yamaha engine, you’ll reach speeds of up to 40 knots as you head across the bays. When you get to the shallow waters, this light vessel will have no problem staying afloat and drifting to each sweet spot. There’s space for up to 4 guests on board, and you’ll even be given some sodas and waters to stay refreshed.
Capt. Norman will also provide top-of-the-line Shimano, Lewes, and Concept 13 rods and reels, along with a range of artificial lures to outwit your target species. Try spinning with light tackle to get the most out of a day on the water, and reel in plenty of delicious fish to take home for a tasty treat. Go after Flounder, Trout, and Redfish, among others, for a fun day’s fishing and even bigger rewards at the end of the day.
When you get back to shore, after taking a photo with your catch, Capt. Norman will clean and prepare your catch so that you’re all set to enjoy the fruits of your labor. All you need to do before hopping aboard is to grab your fishing license – online or at the marina before going. It couldn’t be easier! Come and discover Louisiana fishing in true local style with A’speck Charters.
