Test your skills against exceptional game fish and try to catch yourself something tasty to take home. A native to the Tampa Bay area, Capt. Evan knows every corner of these productive waters. Tarpon fishing is his true passion, so join him for a specialized “Silver King” trip.
The 25’ Dorado bay boat is the perfect vessel to navigate the gulf coast waters. Equipped with the newest fishfinder, GPS, and VHF radio, you’ll find the sweet spots without any trouble. Powered by a 300 HP Mercury engine, the boat will rip across the open waters, before the wireless trolling motor kicks in along the skinny waters. You’ll creep up quietly on your target, catching them off-guard, before hooking ‘em aboard.
Whatever you target, you’re in for a thrilling day. Typically, you’ll have the pick of tough-fighting Snook, Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, and many other prized fish. Using live bait on the end of light tackle, get ready for a struggle throughout, with great rewards! Keep in mind inshore trips are mostly catch and release.
Also offered for the angler looking to bring in some fresh fish, the nearshore fishing is the best option. Targeting mangrove snapper, hogfish, grey sanpper, lane snapper, grouper, mackerel, and much more, they are both a good fight and great table fare. During the nearshore trip you will be fishing within 9 miles of shore in the FL state waters in water as deep as 50 feet.
Bottled waters and a cooler filled with ice will be provided during the trip, but Capt. Evan encourages you to bring your own food and drinks aboard in a soft cooler or bag to stay refreshed all day long. He’ll also pick you up anywhere on the water! What are you waiting for? Capt. We had an amazing time on our fishing charter with Captain Evan! He got us on some snook—something my husband has had on his bucket list for years—and it absolutely made his day. Evan also made sure the rest of the trip was fun and engaging for our teenage son, which we really appreciated. The whole experience was a perfect mix of relaxing and exciting. Evan was knowledgeable, patient, and made us feel completely at ease on the water. Highly recommend this charter if you're looking for a great day out fishing with a fantastic guide!

Booked Capt. Evan the night before after having to finalize other plans with family/weather while we were in St. Pete for the week. He got us on fish within 10 minutes of our first spot. He was quick to not waste time after the bites stopped and move us to the next spot to make sure we could try to get as many fish on the boat. We had an absolutely great day catching some massive fish! If you wanna catch fish, especially tarpon, Captain Evan is the one to book!

I Landed My Very First Tarpon
Caption Evan was great! My husband and I took the afternoon charter and on that particular day the fishing wasn’t the best but Captain Evan didn’t give up, He kept trying until we found the right spot. Around sunset we finally saw a school of tarpon and i was finally able to snag one. It took me about 20-25 minutes to land my tarpon. It was so Exciting to finally catch one and it was a big one! 100lb / 5ft long !!! Highly Recommend! Donna & Chris

Great Day on the Water
I recently had the pleasure of going on a fishing charter with Capt. Evan, and I can’t recommend him highly enough! From the moment we boarded the boat, it was clear that we were in good hands. Capt. Evan's extensive knowledge of the local waters and fishing techniques made the day not only enjoyable but also incredibly productive. He was patient and attentive, taking the time to explain everything and ensuring everyone on board felt comfortable and engaged. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or a beginner, his friendly demeanor makes it easy to relax and enjoy the experience. As for the fishing, we had an amazing day! We caught a variety of fish, including a huge Snook that was the highlight of the trip. Capt. Evan's expertise really shone through as he guided us to the best spots and offered tips that led to our successful catch. Overall, spending the day with Capt. Evan was a fantastic experience.
