Captain Pedro Casanova knows absolutely all the fishing spots in Algarve. He has won many accolades during his long career and is one of the initial founders of the Big game club of Portugal. He was selected as an International Representative for Bisbee’s Fishing Tournaments. EFSA ex colaborator, and competed by FIPS.
Choose a half or full day of fishing fun aboard Capt. Pedro’s 35’ Luhrs boat, capable of accommodating up to 5 guests. She’s fast, stable and solid, built for serious anglers. She’s comfortable for long, offshore trips and as she features a private toilet, air-conditioned cabin, a flybridge, and a fighting chair. All trips are private, meaning your group will have the boat to yourselves. The fishing equipment, fishing licenses, drinks and snack is provided and included in the price.

Fishing Trip – Marlin/Tuna
Great experience
Every part of this trip was a fantastic experience facilitated by Pedro and his mate Carlos; on my first time fishing for giant blue fin. They were both great hosts, sharing knowledge and stories and making extra effort to ensure my 7yr old son enjoyed the day, was kept safe and learnt the ways. We can't wait to go again. Think we'll try for the marlin and mahi mahi next time!

Full Day Trip – Marlin / Bluefin
I would fish with them again
Captain Pedro tried his best to put me on marlin but the fish were not eating that day. I did catch some mahi and Skip jacks but even that action was slow. The water temperature wasn't ideal and the solunar table was not good so it was just one of those days when the fish were not active. I'm confident that if they were eating we would have put them in the boat. This man knows his stuff and if I ever came back to Portugal I would definitely go out with him again. Top notch boat and top notch equipment too.

Caught a great tuna!!
Great trip! Boat was exactly as advertised and it was a great experience. We had several hits and then finally landed a big tuna. Crew knows the water and the fish well, and we really enjoyed the trip!
