Come on an adventure! Captain Anthony Lively has been recreational fishing his entire life, and commercially for over a decade. He loves sharing his passion and he loves taking people out to experience the productive waters Alaska has to offer. Captain Star Argo has been fishing her entire life as well, commercially fishes/dives, and shares the same passions.

You'll spend your trip aboard either a 22' Bayliner that holds 4 anglers, or a 30' Krutop that holds 6 anglers comfortably. When trolling, you'll have 3-4 lines in the water at once, so you can all get in on the action! All vessels have safety and navigational equipment on board, a cabin, as well as a small bathroom.

Get ready for a fishing adventure of a lifetime. There's going to be something exciting for everyone! You can expect to come face to fin with a Chinook, Coho, Pink Salmon, and Halibut. Other species are optional and discussed at the time of booking.

Top-quality rods and reels are included for all the types of fishing we offer. There are even left-handed trolling and bottom fishing rods. On half-day trips, snacks and drinks are provided. On full day trips, snacks, drinks, and sandwiches are prepared for you – let the captain know which flavor sandwich you'd like before the day.

To maximize our time on the water, please purchase a fishing license from ADFG prior to your trip. After the trip, the captain will take you to the nearest processing facility. You can have your fish packed, smoked, fillet, whatever you want, and shipped nationwide for a fee (shipping and processing is not included in the price of your charter).

There's no time to wait! Book a trip with Alaska Affordable Adventures today for a fantastic fishing trip. You'll love the fishing and being surrounded by beautiful scenery. We look forward to giving you a trip of a lifetime.

Great charter
4 Hour Salmon Trip – Salmon (am) on July 12, 20242 adults

We booked this charter as we were in port with an NCL cruise. Our all aboard time was changed so we had even less time, which was already a bit short. I communicated that I was really nervous about getting back to the ship in time. Anthony & Star were reassuring and very accommodating. We got our entire 4 hour charter time and made it back in plenty of time. They thought that the activity was a bit slower than usual but we still had a fantastic time. We didn't have a huge haul but it wasn't due to their lack of trying. They changed locations a few times and also changed our rigs several times. The kings were too small to keep but still a lot of fun. We also caught a lingcod (so ugly) and a rock fish. The boat was clean and felt safe. I usually get sick on small watercrafts but their vessel is sturdy! I didn't have a moment of nausea. We 'd love to return to do the charter again would recommend them without hesitation.

Great Trip!
4 Hour Salmon Trip – Salmon (am) on June 6, 20245 adults1 child

Star and Anthony immediately made our group of six feel at home and things only got better from there. Just a few days into the King Salmon run, Anthony got us on the fish while the rest of the fleet struggled. I'm confident that we not only had the most hits, but also got the most in the boat with the biggest of the day weighing in well over 20 pounds. Plus, as we were coming back to the dock, we found a pod of killer whales and Anthony made sure that we got a good look. They were fascinating! After getting back to the dock and because we had to rush to our cruise ship, Star took our catch to be fileted and shipped back to our house. I would recommend Anthony and Star to anyone. It was worth every dollar!

Great Day of Fishing and Fun with Star and Anthony
4 Hour Salmon Trip – Salmon (am) on August 23, 20242 adults

Star and Anthony are super nice people, hard working experienced guides who obviously love their job. They made sure we had a great day of fishing in spite of being at the end of the season. One of the most enjoyable days of fishing I’ve ever had. They took lots of pictures for us, gave us good advice on processing and getting our fish home at a reasonable price, and even gave us one of their tide books for our other adventures. Thank you Star and Anthony!

FREAKING AMAZING!
6 Hour Trip – Halibut on June 26, 20233 adults

I don’t even know where to begin. Communication was great leading up to this trip and during this trip! It was a great boat and both captain Anthony and Star were amazing! They had electric reels thankfully because those halibut fight!!! We were on a cruise so we had a short port time and they took us straight to location and we started getting bites! I can not tell u how amazing it was to be fishing while hump back whales are swimming around! We have already started planning our trip back to Ketchikan next year just to fish with Captain Anthony and Star! I would really rate them 15/10 if I could! My fathers halibut was just under 40” and mine was 29”!

Star and Anthony gave us a fantastic experience. They are friendly and efficient. They take care of everything so all you have to do is fish and explain everything clearly. The best thing is they have electric reels for Halibut fishing! I highly recommend this trip!
