Trips are run from 14' NRS inflatable outboard rafts, each one powered by a 15 HP Yamaha engine. These boats are ideal for river and surface fishing, able to easily maneuver around rock structures. Each raft fits up to 2 anglers and kids of all ages are more than welcome, as long as they are accompanied by adults.
You will mainly be fishing from the Tempisque and Corobici rivers while targeting Rainbow and Striped Bass, Machaca (Mini Tarpon), and Snook. You can expect a lot of surface fishing using grasshopper flies, poppers, and flowers.
Capt. Esteban provides top-notch fly reels and rods by Remmington, as well as fishing licenses for you and your guests. You will most likely be working up an appetite so you will be offered snacks, food, and drinks as well.
Pick-up and transportation are also included, just meet at their local office and a guide will take you to your fishing location. If you are staying in Papagayo, transportation to and from your hotel will be arranged.

Excellent experience going down the river. The captain was very patient getting me un hooked from branches. He coached me into getting my first ever fish on a fly rod. My friend caught several fish as I had several misses. We also saw multiple varieties of birds, iguanas, a couple crocodiles and howler monkeys. A great trip all around.

Another amazing trip on this beautiful river Our guide was Jose excellent knowledge and great guide Caught a lot of fish ranging up to about 9lb and wonderful scenery This was our second trip here and would highly recommended
We had a great day fishing on Rio Corobicic for Machaca. Great learning experience! Our guide Jose and his son Joseph were experienced guides and helped us catch these fast aggressive fish. Great scenery, too!
