The captain's 36' vessel is the only charter boat stationed in Watch Hill Harbor so it's easy to find. Get ready to cruise the shores in style while being propelled by twin 375 HP Cummins engines. The boat includes state-of-the-art navigational technology, electronics, and a private head. She accommodates up to 6 guests per trip – everyone can bottom fish simultaneously, while 4 can surface fish, and 2 can jig at the same time.
You can already expect to hit productive fishing grounds only 15 minutes from shore. You'll have a choice between light and heavy tackle while trolling, jigging, spinning, drifting, or bottom fishing. Your main target species will be Rhode Island's official state fish, the Striped Bass, as well as Black Seabass, Flounder, Bluefish, and many more! After you land a keeper, snap a quick picture and have Capt. Tim clean and fillet your catch for you, free of charge.

Captain was unable to reduce the price (4 hours on boat instead of 5, discussed at time of booking). The "customary tip" of %15 was expected even with reduced time on boat.

Special 5 hour trip for Steve Ulanecki on August 7, 2024 • 2 adultsCaptain Tim did exactly that, put my friends and I on the fish! Even though conditions were not optimal, the captain used every tactic in his arsenal to optimize our chances in choppy seas and a changing tide. He kept in close communication with Zach the whole time, his incredibly talented and hard working mate, via wireless headset. The experience and level of professionalism was ever apparent. The action was consistent and even with the tight Striper slot requirement, every member my party of six landed a keeper and limited out the boat with eight, also tossing six back to the briny deep(four under, two over), and had two double hook-ups! We really couldn’t have drawn it up any better. It was an incredible day on the water that my party and I will be telling stories about for years….thank you captain Tim and mate Zach for a great day of fishing!

Fished the remainder of the time doing catch and release. A great day, very knowledgeable Captain and first mate. I’m planning on going back sometime in the future and chartering Bonita II for another day of fishing and it’s probably going to be for tuna. Just a wonderful experience.

On a single 5-hour half day trip.. we caught striped bass... Fluke... Mackerel.. sea Robin.. a squid.. black bass and others! I booked based on price and availability and in the future I will book again with him because it was so pleasant. I would definitely do this trip again.

Captain Tim and 1st mate Noah kept us on the stripers. They changed locations and lures until we found what was working for the conditions. Noah kept the lines clean and was very patient with us novices. It was a wonderful time out on the water!

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 14 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
